It would appear that they are now. That and yellow journalism, at least for this story.

Let me ask you this WB. Which story has more crediblity the WAFF story which exagerates and sensationalizes this story while providing no primary or secondary source material or the one SF posted which discredits the WAFF story which provided primary sources, i.e. two seperate Utility companies who contradicted the WAFF report?

We are back to square one here. What we do know is that there are non-union utilities from out of state working in New Jersey with no problem. Thanks to SF, who proved that.

Sorry Darla... but you are incorrect. The article stated that the Huntsville crew was working in storm ravaged areas. It did not state they were working in New Jersey. Reading comprehension is really not your strong suit. I bet we find out they weren't working in New Jersey either.

A utility worker gave a story to a news agency. The news agency apparently thought him trustworthy. Some people apparently don't. But does all of that justify the bullshit spewed here by both sides?? WTF?

Crews from Decatur Utilities headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can't do any work there since they're not union employees.

Huntsville Utilities said they were not turned away and are up in storm ravaged areas working.

I've never wanted to work in a collective bargaining unit myself and I'm not niave to the flaws of unions but it pisses me off when I hear assholes who know nothing about labor unions demonizing them. I have too many family members who do damned good work, mostly skilled work, and it pisses me off to hear them attacked by political extremists because they belong to labor unions.
