Labor unions prevent nonunion power workers from helping in NJ.

It is beyond pathetic. The public should take a good hard look at what unions of today stand for... 'me me me' and 'f you you you'

Why don't we start HERE: Is this story even credible?

Let's try something a little different for you right wingers...THINK. I know it is foreign to you, but:

HOW would repair of power utilities be coordinated?

Would any hick with a bucket truck stop at a gas station and ask: 'Where does Clem and I find some of dem der fell downed high voltage wires'?

Or would any hick with a bucket drive around looking for a 'crew' and ask: 'Where does Clem and I find some of dem der fell downed high voltage wires'?

Do these hicks with a bucket truck bring their own hardware, wire, transformers??

This story falls apart in so many ways, only a moron would swallow it...thus the thread exists...:village:

Let's start this out with a few rules..OK? None of your usual bullshit.

It is NOT a 'news story'

You FIRST have to prove this happened. And you are already trying to move past that and belittle anyone who doesn't believe it's true.

So, before we discuss it, PROVE IT...

LMAO... so a news story has to be proven to have occurred before being reported on?

So all the news we see with 'such and so allegedly did x' will no longer be aired?

http://www.cbsatlanta.com/story/19981857/some-nonunion-ala-crews-turned-away-from-sandy-recovery

It made the news on CBS in Atlanta... so I think it qualifies as a news story. Just not news you want to hear.

Oh thanks for finding that new story which debunks the entire thing:

Crews from Decatur Utilities headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can't do any work there since they're not union employees.

The crews that are in Roanoke, Virginia say they are just watching and waiting even though they originally received a call asking for help from Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Understandably, Moore said they're frustrated being told "thanks, but no thanks."

Huntsville Utilities said they were not turned away and are up in storm ravaged areas working.

So what do we know? One guy, ONE GUY, made a baseless claim with zero evidence and never named a union or a person - and now the Utility company has come out and called bullshit on this guy.

Thanks SF!

Q.E.D.

You are the exact type the right wing echo chamber...Breitbart, Malkin, the blaze rely on to EAT their shit...

This is quite comical because you give the standard left wing echo chamber response... 'uz allz listens to Rush and Breitbart... blah blah blah'

Oh boy here we go. These are the same people who will swear on a stack of bibles that 98% of scientists who do peer-reviewed research on climate change does not constitute evidence of anything and is a big hoax...but will swallow "someone said that someone went to jersey and heard that some union guy told some worker that..." like it was candy.

If I wasn't so busy laughing at these buffoons they'd probably annoy me.

Ah... the Darla rage machine continues... ranting about stats that are indeed quite old... not to mention inaccurate. But do continue ranting and raging Darla... your ignorance is amusement for the board.

It was also reported in Atlanta. But that matters not to the left wing echo chamber.

What was reported in Atlanta was that one clown made an unsubstantiated claim and that "Huntsville Utilities said they were not turned away and are up in storm ravaged areas working."

No doubt now the Utility company is covering up for the union. LMAO

Buffoon.

Let's see how long these buffoons carry on about something that SF accidently debunked by not reading his own link.

Wow... imagine that... Darla too fucking ignorant to recognize there are two utility companies mentioned. Decatur Utilities AND Huntsville Utilities.

If only Darla could get her anger and rage under control, she may actually be able to comprehend what she is reading before spewing more ignorance.

What is truly comical is that you posted this twice. You deride 'one man' from Decator Utilities, then pretend he works for Huntsville Utilities that may have had a different experience.

What escapes little Darla during her rage filled rant is that there is no way in hell the union would be stupid enough to make this a policy. What escapes darla is that it is very possible the people from one utility ran into the typical union thugs that sent them packing while the other utility company did not.

But Darla in her rage isn't capable of rationale thought.

Your usual nonsense as you desperately attempt to deflect from your failure. What point are you trying to make by stating what anyone who can read knows - two utilities were mentioned?

One man from one utility made the claim. Decatur Utility the entity made no claims. One man who works for that utility made a claim.

There are not conflicting claims here from two different Utility companies, nice try monkey boy.

SF is as slippery as a eel. A lying hack, you have to read every word he tries to parse. HE hates me because I know it, and I call bullshit on him every day here.

Buffoon.

Nope.

Never "pretended" any such thing.

Your desperate lying and twisting gets funnier every day.

But they also were forced to contact the utility, and the Utility has now debunked the entire bullshit story.

How surprising.

Link?

You do know that there is more than one city in Alabama... don't you?

Nah... your rage won't let you deal with reality when your fantasy world is going so well for you. Let me guess... you are about to brag about how you skewered someone?

Nope.

Never "pretended" any such thing.

Then tell us darla... why did you state that his utility said it didn't happen? He works for Decatur Utilities in Decatur AL. The company that said they had no problem was Huntsville Utilities in Huntsville AL.

???
