Once again Darla's emotional response proves the incorrect one. It was not the Republican that was raging, it was the DEMOCRATIC MAYOR. But Darla cares not for fact that it was the Dem that wanted the 'mano y mano' confrontation. Darla in her hatred of Reps simply blames Christie.

The reality is the Dem mayor ignorantly told people to stay put rather than evacuate and now those people are stranded. Darla looked out her window and saw a storm so she says that is evidence that man is causing more high category hurricanes. I provided actual data on the number of storms and number of severe storms over the past 150 years that proved her wrong, so now she is in full tantrum mode.

BTW it is a scientific fact that human beings have warmed the planet nearly ,8 or .9 degree c since the industrial revolution, I forget which. And that because of this, all storms are affected by this, period. It's not that I looked out my window and saw a storm and got upset. It's that we have warmed the planet and it is affecting our weather, particularly in North America, and being sentient, i have noticed this. Especially over the past year, but for several years before that. It's getting worse though. I have had more tornado warnings this summer on LI than I had in my entire life time previously. By far. And I do think that is what is waking americans up and polls are showing more and more of them understand their climate is changing.

But I also know the "data" and the "science" do not say what Sf lies and claims they say. He's a hoople and a joke. The idea that I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off over something he said...that will be the most hilarous thing I hear all week I bet.

Actually, no... it is scientific fact that the earth warmed from the early 70's until the late 90's. It is not fact that man was the cause. In fact, the models that were used to claim man caused it have now been shown to be inaccurate given that CO2 has continued rising yet temps have stagnated over the past decade+.

The temperature increase has not caused anything unusual with our weather, even if you go particular with North America. It simply hasn't. That is yet more of your ignorance shining through. Your claims on the hurricanes is debunked by the FACT that there were not more hurricanes nor more hurricanes of greater force. But like everything else, you look out your window and ignore the actual data.
