Well, its looking like election day will be a squeeker. I dont know if the President can pull it off.

But, for you idiots running around shouting that you are SURE the president will win Ohio, and the election, and that he can win the election without Ohio because you are sure he will win Wisonsin and or Mischigan... No matter the result, even if Romney wins Ohio, Mischigan and Wisconsin.... You are IDIOTS claiming you are so sure at this point.

Let's review. I do think Ohio will fall to Romney. I am certain of it. I also said that he CAN win without it. I am not as certain of that. He would have to win Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Iowa. The latter two are in the bag. Wisconsin will be interesting. Romney shouldn't have a chance, but given the Wisconsin recall they are in a better position.

I am sorry that certitude offends your delicate sensibilities. At the end of the day, if I am wrong, I eat crow. I can live with that.

I simply belive its dumb for anyone to pretend to be certian at this point.

I think it is natural for both sides want to be optimistic about their candidate's chances. Romney supporters want Romney to win, so they say he'll win; same goes for Obama supporters. Unlike '08, both are possible, and each side has reasons to support why their candidate has an equal shot.

Now, obviously I have reasons why I believe Romney will win. History supports a decisive Romney win. I personally think Romney has it in the bag. But, I could be wrong. Just because history doesn't support an Obama victory doesn't mean it can't happen - there's a first time for everything, after all.

If I'm wrong, I'll suck it up and move on with life. If I'm right, I'm going to log into this board on election night and mercilessly torment the liberals that were so confident about an Obama victory (e.g. Dungheap). Sound fair? :)

And the left leaning posters who have guaranteed Obama's victory, what about them Jarod?

You are already tormenting the board with your Romney is going to win by a landslide, I don't see how tormenting us after the election will be any different.

dudes just think like this.

They think if they keep saying and pretending robmoney is going to win that he actually will win.

This is truly ironic coming from Jarod.

It's called the confidence game. Both sides do it. Try to beat down the other side so that they give up hope. :) What makes this election season particularly fun is the relatively even chances of both candidates. In '08, I tried to be optimistic but deep down I knew Obama was going to pull it off by a wide margin. That isn't the case in this election. While Obama has a shot this time around, so does Romney - and I personally believe Romney's odds are better.

I am pretty confident at this point that my choice is going to lose. I will leave the comedy to the rest of you as to who will win this election.

You win some, you lose some. The country moves on regardless. For me, this is just as much about the game as the actual policies. Elections are my super bowl. I love it.

Liberals had their heyday for the last 4 years and only 37% of Americans believe we're on the right track. Time to give someone else a shot.

Have you read none of Haiku's or her sidekicks posts when they consistently state Obama is going to win? Hazlenut does the same thing.

Or toppys posts... or more ironically, how many predictions has Jarod given us where he is really really sure (until he then changes his mind)
