It's going to be a great night, so let's get started.

Most americans ultimately don't rank foreign policy very high on their list of priorities. So how do the candidates grab voters with a debate format that lends itself to discussing something everyone is ambivalent about?

Keyword: Broad Strokes

Tonight is all about who will be seen as

1) a more capable leader
2) more trust worthy

both starting answers have been break-evenish. obama dipped negetive with men very briefly.

basically a wash

obama lie #1

Said Romney: "This is without question our No. 1 geopolitical foe. They fight for every cause for the world's worst actors. The idea that he has more flexibility in mind for Russia is very, very troubling indeed."

Blitzer asked Romney if he thought Russia is a bigger foe than Iran, China or North Korea.

"I'm saying in terms of a geopolitical opponent, the nation that lines up with the world's worst actors," Romney said. "Of course the greatest threat that the world faces is a nuclear Iran, and a nuclear North Korea is already troubling enough.

Romney needs to make more declarative statements rather than questions. If you don't want to cede your time to the opponent, stop asking them questions and actually expecting an answer...

lies don't matter. how many fucking times do i have to say this.

All Romney has to do is look Presidential, to give the appearance of somebody that people can see in the office. Those who are still waiting to figure it out clearly are looking for an option other than Obama.

i think obama has ratings higher with undecided voters on cnn so far

but 95% of the time both have been breakeven
