The fat lady is warming up her pipes...

"fairy tale religion" is redundant.

Also, all politicians believe in fairy tale religions. So that's a draw.

Good. Who cares about prole license plate stampers. China is better for those jobs. Romney doesn't have an obligation to prole workers. You have this bizarre idea that business's are charities. LOL no.

I think it's great that Romney has a can do attitude and the things he puts his mind to, he accomplishes. He's a life winner. If he played the boardgame life he would be cruising with his pink peg wife and 2 kids way before you got started.

Liberals are life losers. No wonder they hate Mitt Romney. He reminds them of the fact that they lost the game.

Dude, get serious. Winning in life has little to do with how much money you make or how many toys you own or what your politics are. Winning in life is about finding a pretty woman who is sweet natured and can cook that will put up with your hairy ass.

the thing is though, the election isn't held today.

I've also seen polls that show him with up colorado, virginia, ohio now. Purple Polling I think it's called. I know, I know, the only polls that matter are the ones that you agree with.

But the most important thing is he has the momentum. Obama does not.
That's highly arguable. Polling on early voting is all ready showing Obama with a substantial lead. So much for Romney's momentum.

If you're reading the poll numbers objectively the only signifcant change has been in Florida. The rest of the changes are within the margin of errors of the polls meaming their statistical significance is questionable.

Now if you want to look at it objectively and strategically here's the Problem Romney has. He's campaigned hard to convince the base that he's a dedicated conservative, he even chose an ideological conservative as his running mate. They recieved a small bump after the convention but had substantial losses after the Dem convention and the 47% video fiasco.

Now come debate time Mitt has the promised etch a scetch moment and comes storming towards the center. The problem with that is how do they argue from the center while distancing themselves from their right wing rhetoric? That would have been easier for Romney to do had he not chosen a conservative ideologue like Ryan who has a lengthy track record of supporting out of the mainstream right wing policies. So Romney has a credibility problem there and the attacks on his and Ryans credibility, post debate, have all ready begun and have been quite affective.

Next, and the more important problem for Romney, is that he has stormed back to the center claiming he has centrist plans that contradict the right wing rhetoric he's been espousing for over a year now. He's provided absolutely no detail for these "plans" and has studiously avoided providing any and that seriously leaves him open to political attack by his opponent. Obama simply needs to pounce on this by simply stating that Romney is going to do the same irresponsible thing that W did. He's going to cut taxes for the wealthy and increase military spending and drive up the deficits. Remember, this is the party that said "Deficits don't matter." Now that they are out of office somehow they do? We're supposed to believe this? Come on!

Then there's the problem with Mitts foreign policy. Mitt's going to try to blow the Libyan situation out of proportion. I can't blame him. He's desperate. Obama simply has to paint him out as another incompetent right wing war hawk hell bent to involving us in another uneccessary war and quite simply brag about his foreign policy achievements which are substantial.

So though the public was impressed with Romney's first debate performance the public will not allow him to get away with out providing the specifics for his plans. Otherwise he'll be painted as someone who is just saying whatever he needs to say to get elected or worse, he'll be comparted to Nixon. That appears to be the case and that can and will hurt him if he does not start providing specifics.

So what your calling "momentum" is probably just another bump which will decline, as it did for Romney after the Democratic convention, when Dems rebutted Romney's rhetoric with facts and figures. That pretty much happened with Bidens win over Ryan as there has been no improvement in the polls for Romney since last weekend. Your so called momentum has been stalled. Romney will again have to have a significant victory over Obama in their next debate to regain that momentum. The good news for the Romney camp is that though they may have lost momentum after Ryans debate loss, the Obama camp has not gained any momentum either.
