Suck it, libs: Ryan 48%, Biden 44%

Rationalist

Hail Voltaire
This is the best you're going to get!

(CNN) – A CNN poll of debate watchers released following Thursday's matchup between Rep. Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden showed 48% of respondents named Ryan the winner and 44% said Biden won.

The margin between the two candidates was within the poll's five point sampling error.

A poll taken immediately after last week's first presidential debate showed a much more decisive victory for Mitt Romney. Sixty seven percent of debate watchers questioned said that the Republican nominee won the faceoff, with one in four saying that President Barack Obama was victorious.

Now post the poll of undecided voters from CBS (the poll above was all debate watchers). Biden kicked his ass among undecideds. All the above poll shows is that Republicans, unlike Democrats, will never admit when their guy loses.

50 Biden, 31 Ryan, 19 Tie. So in other words, 50% don't believe Biden won - that's what matters. It doesn't even remotely compare to Romney's historic debate victory, nor will it compensate for Obama getting his ass handed to him a second and third time.

Hilarious.

I want you to picture Joe Biden's toothy grin in your mind. That's what I look like reading your asinine spin.

Well Dung, if he won then we can expect a bounce in the polls. Let's wait and see. If Romney gains or remains steady, I'll be back in 3 days to rub it in your face.

He won. Whether it translates to poll results is a separate question. VP debates aren't that big a deal, really. That's what makes the hardcore spinning so hilarious.

Biden won. Not that big of a deal. Get over it.

I share your pain man. My Reds committed the biggest choke job in the history of MLB playoffs.

Yeah, losing three in a row at home hurts. I went to Game 2 in SF and you guys looked dominant. As an A's fan living in San Francisco I'm already in a small minority and now I'm going to have hear from all these Giants fans, many of who didn't even root for the team prior to the 2010 World Series. FML.

I have hated baseball since the strikes. I hold a mean grudge.

I'm a lot like you in that sense. It took me years to come back to baseball after the strike but I am nowhere close as passionate or into the game as I was before it.

My wife babysit's for one of the Giants starting pitchers and we actually become good friends with them. That's given me a personal interest to root for him when he pitches but other than that my passion for baseball is not there.
