...postponement of voter ID requirements in PA, at least this election. :cheer::hand:

HARRISBURG, Pa. A judge postponed Pennsylvania's controversial voter identification requirement on Tuesday, ordering the state not to enforce it in this year's presidential election.
The decision by Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson on the law requiring each voter to show a valid photo ID could be appealed to the state Supreme Court. The law could go into full effect next year, under Simpson's ruling.
However, Simpson based his decision on guidelines given to him days ago by the high court justices, and it could easily be the final word on the law just five weeks before the Nov. 6 election.
His ruling came after listening to two days of testimony about the state's eleventh-hour efforts to make it easier to get a valid photo ID. He also heard about long lines and ill-informed clerks at driver's license centers and identification requirements that made it hard for some registered voters to get a state-issued photo ID.

A good outcome, so far....the state hasn't made any effort to provide the infrastructure to implement this law, which of course was the entire intent...suppress the vote.

Now if they can force the republican party to tell us whos voter regs they tore up instead of turning in

Well, looks like PA is out of play. Congrats. But it won't prevent the inevitable. When the election is called for Romney, I'm going to log into this message board and start a thread to rub it in. :)

Oh but that's 'different'....and all they really care about. None of this is about them being 'concerned' about improper voting because it's another 'problem' that doesn't exist. They're so transparent.

I think hes hoping for another scotus election

Worst case scenario, it's a tie in the EC. There are a couple scenarios in which this could occur. However, at that point Romney is certain to win, as it is unlikely the Dems will retake the House. And I believe Romney will win the popular vote by a comfortable margin.

A great day.

Too bad about all those Red States that didn't toss out their voter ID laws.

All the old Teabrains in those states aren't going to get to vote this election. I'm sure Fox News will blame Obama.

Why are you so delusional?

if the state provides free ID cards to those who can't afford one, what is the problem?

one issue i see is, mail in votes. how can we be sure the person who mailed it in and voted is the actual person?
