Unfortunate repercussions if OWEbama gets re-elected

I've already stated the facts, and I'm not a repub.

No business/sales, no jobs. His/Obama policies are killing jobs and running business overseas.

I didn't say you were. I said your employer is very obviously trying to sway you and your coworkers to vote Republican. What part of that are you still incapable of grasping?

Actually there are businesses returning to the states because of poor quality control overseas. The jobs went overseas in droves during the Clinton and Bush administrations because of policy implemented then.

I won't allow them to up piss flaps. If he is re-elected, I will voluntarily choose to work less to keep my income below a certain amount. Less income means less money means less cleaning lady and toys. I know economics is hard for you because math for women is really hard, but please do try to keep up.

Want me to give her your number? She really does a great job. I have been amazed how she can make the terlet sparkle.

No one buys your bullshit, Alias. You offer nothing but sophomoric fodder for all of us to laugh at. Keep it up!

:rofl2:

So, where are the jobs, cracker? The tax cuts have been in affect for 12 years, and under Bush there were huge job loses, so tell me how your logic works, exactly, or more like it, give me zo'Reilly's logic.

The things that have been oing on for 30 have nerly bankrupted this country, and yet, you wnt more of the same. Good plan.

Tax cuts meant to effect the economy of 10 years ago have nothing to do with todays economy.....

Like it pointed out many times, Kennedy cut taxes 50 years ago and do you really think that should have an effect on todays economy....of course not.
Thats as stupid as your ranting about Bush tax cuts of a decade ago and claiming it should affect todays problems....you show real ignorance to even mention that bs.

Didn't The Daily Show or Huffington give you news lately...???

Tax rates on ordinary income currently range from 10 percent to 33 percent. These rates are an extension of the so-called Bush-era tax cuts that were scheduled to expire at the end of 2010, but were extended for two more years. If these relatively low rates are allowed to expire at the end of 2012—which many believe is likely—increases will occur across the board, with a top ordinary income rate as high as 39.6 percent.

Even greater increases might be in store for investors and people with income from capital gains and qualified dividends. Unless Congress takes action, the long-term capital gains rate will jump from 15 percent to 20 percent and the qualified dividends rate could more than double, increasing from 15 percent to a whopping 39.6 percent.

If the U.S. Supreme Court deems the health care reform law constitutional, the Medicare surtax will kick in at a modified gross income of $200,000 for singles and $250,000 for married couples in 2013. The surtax of 3.8 percent will be imposed on the lesser of net investment income and income in excess of the thresholds.

Higher taxes = fewer jobs ............ believe it.

We have no taxes now and there aren't any jobs. This is corporate Americas way of scaring everyone. You bought into it.

I had to have a difficult conversation with our cleaning lady yesterday who happens to be a person of color that voted for OWEdummy in 2008 and plans to vote for him in 2012. I told her that if B. Hussein Yobabymama wins re-election, we will have to let her go. If I am going to have to pay higher taxes, then I am going to have to cut expenses. That is just how it works. It is unfortunate for our cleaning lady because she has a son in college and she makes $100 a week cleaning our house, all in cash. I don't know where she will make up that $4800 a year, but, it is what it is.

You arer one class A redneck jerk.

Yeah, you are stupid if you believe it.

So you're going to work less? Shall I call you Mr. Galt? :rofl2:

You're going to buy less toys thinking you're hurting others? Do you know the meaning of the word "deluded"?

Why would I work harder for more and more of it to be siphoned away? that makes no sense. Apparently it is a difficult concept for you to understand because you obviously are on that treadmill trying to keep up. You see unlike the rest of the country, I wasn't out there buying 10 times more house than I could afford. I bought a modest house and paid it off very quickly. I only pay cash for cars and only ever buy used. I have saved gobs of money and could quit working altogether if I wanted to. But, I enjoy what we do. I am in a fortunate position to be able to choose how often and when I want to work. Do I think my individual choices will impact the entire country? Not at all. They will have their small impact though. As I said, the cleaning lady will go. There is a trip we were planning that we will probably put on hold. I would enjoy the trip, but there are other things I can do. Who ultimately is hurt by me not going on that trip? Me? Or the people who would have made money from said trip? The airlines. the hotel(s), the rental cars, the restaurants, the tourist traps etc.

That you don't understand basic economics is not surprising, just damned sad.

Do you think I am going to stand by and be used as a piggy bank for your conscience? Not bloody likely. I prefer to be compassionate with my own money through my own choices, not yours.

Management at my company are Libertarian, and I can't see them waisting their vote on the repub/Romney. Strange but very true.

Unemployment in the US during the Clinton and Bush years was extremely low.....business was EXPANDING overseas....

It is what it is. I've been told to be ready to take over things/sales here. It's very possible that the manufacturing part of our company is moving overseas.

Most unfortunate. It is why the government had to make changes to protect our jobs, like Obama did with China and the tire manufacturers.

How is that Liberty, let them starve, stop grants or education, let them get sick and die?

Fed gov't hand outs. Such as cell phones, food stamps, any involvement that these parents and kids come to depend on.

As long as there are only incentives to outsource and offshore, the race to the bottom will continue. Little is ever done by our government because our leaders are owned by the corporatocracy and our leaders get thrown a bone in exchange for their cooperation with screwing over the American worker.
