From the Article:

Obama established one of the most reckless precedents imaginable: that any president can secretly order and oversee the extrajudicial killing of American citizens. Obama's kill list transgresses against the Constitution as egregiously as anything George W. Bush ever did. It is as radical an invocation of executive power as anything Dick Cheney championed. The fact that the Democrats rebelled against those men before enthusiastically supporting Obama is hackery every bit as blatant and shameful as anything any talk radio host has done.

Can somebody explain to me what is the difference between using drones and sending Apache helicopters with special forces to kill AQ and the Taliban. Is it because it is considered to be unfair not to send humans to kill?

Yes, Apache Helicopters with pilots and gunners are far more accurate than the drones and their video gamer pilots. Eyes in Theatre are far better than eyes thousands of miles away.

An old friend from the left convinced me that no matter what I felt about Scott/Romney voting for Obama was a bad idea. As he pointed out, the left goes to sleep on Obama's police/military state abuses. He and they deserve to lose as much as Romney and the fake limited government conservatives.

Soc, I started reading the article and saw this part about the drones.

"It is a cowardly, immoral, and illegal policy, deliberately cloaked in opportunistic secrecy. And Democrats who believe that it is the most moral of all responsible policy alternatives are as misinformed and blinded by partisanship as any conservative ideologue."

If you were in charge what is the policy you would promote vis-a-vis going after Al-Queda terrorists? (or not go after them)

I would hit their training camps and I would use Delta Force and SEALS. Drone attacks have been imprecise and killed people who are unfortunate enough to live in these regions.

It's no different than the B52 bombings in Vietnam that killed tens of thousands of civilians and lost the hearts and minds there.

Everything Obama has done would have you gnashing your teeth and calling for impeachment had GWB done it. As the article says, only a hack.

Ahhhh....the good ole double standard is alive and well in the little warped minds of the left.....

Look at my Avatar. Do you think I am voting for Romney?

Your vote will be wasted and Obama will win and ignore the Constitution for 4 more years......
and just might do irreparable damage that will haunt the country for a generation or more....
and that will be the fault of people that think like you, stubborn and bullheaded......too bad

Who's to say though that if he didn't vote for Johnson he wouldn't vote for Obama? Contrary to what some think not all Libertarians would automatically be Republicans.

He did.....Libertarians are libertarians.....and Republicans are Republicans by definition.

A waisted vote is an acceptance of the tyranny that that vote supports, especially when the person you're voting for has a track record that is in direct opposition/conflict to your core beliefs.

Not to mention the transgressions the reps have made. (Against our constitution.)
