Well... sort of the whole point of this math problem, was to demonstrate just how big the national debt is. I think it is a quite astonishing illustration, when you envision such a scenario... A thousand immortal beer drinkers chugging 1 per second for over 500 years without sleep in order to achieve this number... pretty fucking brilliant.

we have literally used this joke for years, and it never gets old. everytime, it's like "bam, you just got served dixie, 1/3rd"
