more fodder for islamic riots

maybe the french feel left out

A French satirical magazine is set to publish several cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed on Wednesday, a move that is likely to inflame the Islamic faithful and militants who have already rioted in more than 20 countries over a movie mocking the prophet.
Depictions of the prophet are strictly prohibited and considered blasphemous by Muslims. Cartoons of Muhammad published in Denmark in 2005 and then reproduced in newspapers across Europe triggered riots throughout the Mideast and Africa. Churches and embassies were torched and at least 100 people died in the outbreaks and police crackdowns.
The magazine "Charlie Hebdo" has confirmed that it will publish the cartoons, but has not revealed what they will depict. French newspaper "Le Monde" reports that some of the cartoons show the prophet in "particularly explicit poses," without providing any further detail.

Could not someone persuade Silvio to publish them in Chi and Closer? Much more fun.

These folks have already been firebombed by Islamist nutcases and now they’re basically saying fuck you and poking them in the eye again.

Just imagine if we had media in this country with such balls, not to mention our so-called leadership in Washington. Instead, they quiver and tremble in fear. Who thought we’d ever see the day when some French satirists showed more guts than the American government. How far we’ve fallen.

I give the French credit for finding their nuts. When they find Obama’s can they let us know?

So we should just accept the Muslimes beliefs that their "prophet" should not be depicted in a cartoon lest they creat violence?

I think the Muslimes are showing us Christians the way when we feel our beliefs are attacked. They just need to threaten to blow something up and the secularist pussies run the other way

I this this is rather Ironic, both sides going for their beliefs to the end. West embracing freedom of speech belief to the point of stupidity, and the muslim radicals embracing respect for their prophet to the point of immolation.
