I still think Obama will probably win, but I am not sure of it, and I wouldn't bet on it, and I don't think it's all over but the celebrating. There is a distinct difference. What if you never chose to leave your home and live with the grizzlies, but rather, you were run out of your home and most of your family killed by people who hated you for what you believed, and after much persecution and decades of death to your relatives, you finally were allowed to return to your home, to find it full of grizzlies? That's a much better analogy here.

Most who moved to the TransJordan had no connection to it except that their ancestors had been run out in 70 AD. The Cherokee have a better claim to South Carolina than the Jew's did to Israel. That being said, they have now been there for 60 years and no one can legitimately claim that they should not exist. I personally do agree that Israel is guilty of crimes for their treatment of the Palestinian people and i believe that there are those who view the Muslim people as something less than human.

I also don't support Iran's right to develop nuclear weapons. I mean, what is wrong with being against nuclear proliferation? Shouldn't we be working to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons? Isn't this the only sane position as a member of the human race? The problem is that Israel does have nuclear weapons. So to take the position that it's okay for Israel but for not Iran is cultural supremacy. It's bigoted. It's bullshit.

But I do not take the attitude that it's just a big shrug for Iran to have nuclear weapons. You know this shit is going to bite us in the ass one day. Nuclear weapons are going to be used. Then you throw the Republican party into this, just think about it. Yesterday you had a man who could become President shooting his mouth off like a big ole idiot. He is also working in cahoots with the head of a foreign nation (Netanyahu) against an American President. These fucking fools which include Baghdad Dan Senor and the psychopath John Bolton are playing around with situations that could actually lead to nuclear war. THey are buffoons. And our lives are in their hands.

I'd like to get rid of all nuclear weapons. I wish we could bring back that movement here in the US. But in the meantime I do not take the left position that we have no right to try and prevent nuclear proliferation. This in no way means I believe we should go to war to prevent it. Bombing the shit out of people does not strike me as a great way to prevent them from wanting to get a nuclear bomb so they can use it on your ass. And I do not support Israel either. But to me this is a pretty complicated subject that can be boiled down to: are the world's people safer if there are more countries with nuclear weapons, or fewer countries with nuclear weapons?

It's also logical from the stance of opposing nuclear proliferation.......Israel HAS nuclear weapons.....Iran does not......is it possible for someone who wants to prevent nuclear proliferation to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons even though Israel does without being bigoted?......obviously it is not only possible but it would irrational to think otherwise.....
