Team Obama promises it will fill every one of the seats in Charlotte’s mammoth football stadium Thursday night when President Obama closes the Democratic National Convention with a speech accepting his party’s nomination.

For weeks, Democrats have been concerned about filling Bank of America Stadium, home to the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. They feared a devastating image of an enthusiasm gap if Obama spoke to empty upper decks at the venue.

But the Obama campaign says it’s got it covered, and that all 73,778 of the stadium’s seats will be spoken for. The campaign also insists this success will showcase a ground operation that will help Obama win North Carolina for a second cycle in a row this November.

LOL

Offers of $50.00, a free t-shirt, hot dog and drink are how they will do it.

I think there are still 70K Union members that are beholden to the payoffs Obama gave them...Doesn't matter....What matters is the outcome of the election.

I wonder if they'll have footage of all the buses rolling into the Stadiums parking lot, or all the homeless that they carry.

Did you see the footage of all the hundreds of buses of homeless being shipped out of Tampa so they didn't bother the pubs?

Do I have proof that I would have gone there for $50? Did you actually read what I posted and you quoted?

Just out of curiousity, when you write stuff like this are you serious? Or just having fun gaslighting people?

BAC obviously meant he'd like to see some evidence that Obama is paying people 50 bucks to attend the convention. I guess you didn't notice this but the claim was made by a member of the internet KKK.

Looks like the Maobama campaign is buying up cartons of cigarettes and Colt 45 to fill the stadium

:rofl2:

That should send the libtardiots off in a tizzy

I think the D&C is offering free mamograms by Bill Clinton and abortions even if you don't need one. Just say you were raped. Which given that it is a D&C convention, the odds are pretty good that someone will be raped. Anyone know where Clinton is?

Democrats and labor part ways for convention

Labor unions are curbing their contributions to this year's Democratic National Convention, in part because of the event's setting — North Carolina, the least unionized state in the country.

Construction worker Steve Law helps prepare Time Warner Cable Arena in… (Chuck Burton, Associated…)WASHINGTON — When the Democratic Party imposed strict curbs on its 2012 convention fundraising — barring money from typical givers like corporations and lobbyists in hopes of diminishing the influence of special interests — it carved out a key exception: labor unions.

Unions have been one of the most reliable givers to Democratic convention fundraising. But with less than a month to go before the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., many unions that have been steadfast donors are now declining to fork over their cash.

The falloff in union support throws a kink into the Democrats' final drive to raise $37 million, a push that has already been hampered by the party's restrictions on large individual contributions and ban on corporate cash.

Unions, meanwhile, are aiming to assert their political autonomy in a rally Saturday in Philadelphia, which organizers say will highlight concerns of working families they believe both parties have not sufficiently addressed

The "internet KKK"?

Would that be Howie's Kewl Kid Klub? :D

What I find hilarious are people who owe their good paying jobs and benefits to unions, but support the Republican party!
