I want to go on record as saying everyone who voted for Obama in 08 who decides not to vote for him in 12 is NOT wasting his vote.....I heartily encourage you to stay at home in protest of his first four years.....

Just to be clear, that isn't what I'm saying.

In fact, given all they have invested, they damn well better go to the polls AND hold his feet to the fire.

But that isn't going to happen. They are either willfully ignorant as Gatorman or just blame Bush.

If Bush had assassinated a US citizen, these folks would be wetting their pants with indignation.

But it goes both ways. Some of those screaming the loudest over Obamas spending looked the other way while the GOP expanded Medicare and put it on the credit card. They looked the other way when he imposed steel tariffs. They looked the other way hen he grew government.

I had reservations about voting for Bush the second time but I was worried that Kerry would pull the troops out too quickly from Iraq which I thought was a bad idea.

I did not vote for McShamnesty. I would have if his campaign had not thrown Palin under the bus. I wrote in Calvin Coolidge.

I may do it again this time

The country would be a lot more peaceful if I were in charge but since I'm not, what do you suggest?

for starters, stop thinking of the government as your master and start asserting your own power. Both conservatives and liberals have this extremely submissive attitude towards government power, that it's no wonder they can abuse the fuck out of you and you just sit back and take it.

for specifics, arm yourself and be ready to shoot back. join with your neighbors and friends. the more of you there are, the better chance you have of not only surviving, but being able to go unmolested by the government. Numbers makes all the difference, take Ruidoso NM for example. The mayor didn't like the idea of the citizens being able to carry guns in their council meetings, so he decided an executive order was in demand to ban guns from the council chambers. Now, in alot of cities this would be enforced by armed cops who would arrest anyone trying to carry a gun in to the council chambers, unless of course you get 80 people carrying guns all at once. You do that, stick together and stick up for each other, and the cops are not going to do shit to you.

as I said, being armed, armed in a group (the larger, the better), and being willing to actually use it.

you've been spoonfed this belief that the courts are there to protect your rights, but did they protect your rights after Bush signed the PATRIOT ACT? Did they protect your rights on warrantless wiretaps? Did the protect your rights by deciding that if the police knock on your door and announce themselves, then hear sounds like you're destroying evidence, that they no longer need a warrant?

Why do you think that cops approach most scenarios with two plans in mind???? 1) be ready to kill to defend yourself and 2) overwhelming numbers, overwhelming force, and overwhelming weapons.
