Sorry, I was expressing my admiration for someone who never panics and thinks clearly in life-threatening crises.

The key point is whether or not you panic. I have been in situations with people driving thru work zones, arc flashes, crane cables breaking, downed power lines, and accidents involving potential explosions and dangerous atmospheres. I have not been shot at, but I have been in crisis situations enough to understand me own reactions.

This will protect your ID and I trust you won't just keep practicing it, until it works out to your advantage.

Considering I was in the work zone as were several of my co-workers, it was a very dangerous situation. You can make light of it if you wish, but it is one of the most dangerous places in the country in which to work.

I see you still haven't proven your claim.

You made the boast, the burden of proof is yours.

No way to actually prove anything, short of shooting someone. Even the paintball exercise is not definitive proof, since I will be prepared and know the paintballs will not kill me.

But I know how well I shoot and how well I react in a crisis. I firmly believe I would not have shot 3 bystanders, and would have killed the criminal.

Just remember that your "weapon" has to remain holstered, until the "shooter" turns towards you and you see his weapon.
You can't draw while he's turning, just because you know he has a weapon.

I think I would have done better than the cops. Which is what I stated on the first page of this thread. I know my capabilities with my guns and I know my reactions in a crisis.

You have tried to disparage both. But you have failed to do so. I think I would have done a better job. I also think those cops are either under-trained or inept. I am giving them the benefits of the doubt when I question how much training they get.
