I remember watching a client come home in the middle of the day and climb in bed fully clothed after watching 1/2 of his net worth evaporate.. I remember my grandmother losing $80K over a dozen hours and having a panic attack because that was what my grandfather left her after he died to live on after working at NASA for his entire career.. I remember holding my breath, all of us.. watching and waiting for the run on that banks that really would have crippled this country.. and watching as the rest of the world was crippled..

maybe you had a good year that year.. but most of the rest of us were scared to see what was going to happen next.. Today? not like that at all..

but let's take a gander..

...after Fox started the story about how Obama's spending "..nearly double what his predecessor did".. just to show that no, no-no.. it wasn't Obama's spending..but that Cato-story didn't fit the narrative so it was ignored..

-Bush shed 913,000 private sector jobs in his 1st term but padded them with adding 900,000 public sector jobs.. Obama, shed 600,000 public sector jobs and has a net gain of 35,000 private sector jobs

oddly enough.. the unfunded Bush tax cut,two unfunded wars, the unfunded medicare D, increased defense spending,TARP etc.. were all something Paul Ryan voted for...thus enabling all this mess...

If anything Obama's race made me more sympathetic. I don't blame him for being half white either.

If he had not done what I knew and said he would (abandon civil liberties) I might still support him over Romney. I still think he was better than McCain and I'd rather Romney lose so we can continue the work of taking over the GOP. If Romney wins I fear the neocons might have the power to purge us again. They will have to overturn Citizens United though to keep us out permanently.

If civil libertarians on the left were doing the same, getting rid of the backstabbing bastards that rule your party and replacing them with people that actually believe what they claim things would be much better. You guys lost your nerve with Lieberman, but with CU it's much easier to take these guys out.
