I absolutely fear someone like this nut gaining power. At this point in time I do not believe they can win the election. So I do not feel fear so much as wonderment. How did we get here? Four years after the economy was collapsed, one of our two major parties has nominated one of the people who collapsed it for President. one of our two major parties has just nominated a man who has spent his life working to overturn all new deal and great society programs, including Medicare and SS, to be one heart beat away.

how did we get here? And where do we go from here?

But worried about them winning? You know, if these two are actually elected by the American people, we're already done. We're done before they take office. If that's where the people in this country are at, it's time to trash this "experiment" and start over. And no one is going to trash it faster than these two.

Here's what you need to get through your pretty little pinhead, dear... Not ALL women are liberals. Not ALL women believe in abortion. Very few OBJECTIVE women will find Ryan "extreme" or "radical" in his views. I agree, he doesn't stand much chance with left-wing liberal women of America, but then, I don't know of anyone Romney could have picked who would have done that, and not alienated the base entirely.

Amen to that. And I felt that way when Palin was trotted out and actually registered with the great unwashed as a viable contender. I thought that was an frighteningly abysmal commentary on the intelligence of the country as a whole.

As I have stated all along, this is going to be decided by the economy.

Yes, Romney and Ryan have a very good chance of winning. A guarantee? Absolutely not. But pretending that Ryan is unelectable given that he has managed to get elected in a toss up district in WI consistently is nothing short of absurd.

The Dems will certainly try to once again divert the focus onto social issues, while ignoring their incompetence in trying to pull this country out of an economic downturn. But Ryan and Romney will continue hammering on the economy. Ryan will destroy Biden in a debate... the Dems know it.

I think Romney stands a better chance with Ryan than with any of the others on his list. I am not lashing out dearest little Darla... that is you and the left. I posted an article from the Onion. You all went off.
