Capitalism will substitute ingredients(Some of which may not be good for you or lack nutrition) to increase profit margins.
Capitalism will risk public safety for the almighty dollar.
Capitalism will create waste just to keep pushing their products.
Capitalism creates a slavery to technology. You must work indefinitely to keep up.
Capitalism creates vanity, and many people are led astray pursuing that vanity.
Capitalism allows for criminals to infiltrate the country's economy(which is occurring).
Capitalism creates competition and many resort to immoral activity to keep their business afloat.
Where there is money to be made you will ALWAYS have dishonesty.

OK. People say that Capitalism caters to greed(Human nature) and that it is a good thing. What does Capitalism produce? Individual wealth(at the expense of others via greed).

Lets see what Scripture says about Capitalism and working hard.

Ecclesiastes 4:6
One hand full of rest is better than two fists full of labor and striving after wind.

Ecclesiastes 4:4
I have seen that every labor and every skill which is done is the result of rivalry between a man and his neighbor This too is vanity and striving after wind.

Philippians 3:18-20 (New American Standard Bible)

18For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ,

19whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things.

Matthew 6:24
" No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other You cannot serve God and wealth.

What does Scripture say of the wealthy?

# Matthew 19:24
"Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

P.S. Anyone that believes Jesus supports capitalism does NOT know Jesus. And the preachers that promote wealth are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Jesus states that the ruler of this world has been judged and has been found guilty. Who is the rulers of this world? Is it not the wealthy? Who enslaves us? First it was Kings that went around enslaving people for financial gain. Now the money monopoly is owned by wealthy bankers who have the world enslaved to a system of credit they run making money out of nothing. Therefore no financial loss can occur. Then tell me. Why have tax payers payed trillions of dollars in interest to money made out of thin air?

"By this means government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft." - John Maynard

Well I detect it and the wealth is being moved to China...........

Great. Now where's your critique of Socialism? I'd love to see you bash Communism as well. ;)

So God is for communism, or socialism? You're saying that God is not for free choice.

Marxism offers very little choice. Pure capitalism offers much more choices, and opportunities.

You're fictional god makes you worship him, or does he give you a choice? A choice that brings about results directly related to your choices.

If there's a God, this God would be for capitalism, not Marxism.

The facts are self evident. Marxism takes/steals from one to give to another. (lazy good for nothing people) In Capitalism you either sink, or swim.

Marxism produces lazy people. Capitalism produces wealth, opportunity, and hard working people.

Great. Now where's your critique of Socialism? I'd love to see you bash Communism as well. ;)

Well since they say communism was financed by Capitalist banks? The American Federal reserve? I'm not sure what you define as communism. Communism started off as socialist movement which became corrupted by foreign capital money and then transformed into an Oligarchy. Socialism is not rule of the few for the benefit of the few. In socialism, everyone has a say.

The only critique I have of socialism is that if a tyrant were to make it to power, he would be difficult to remove. That is why I propose a democratic socialist system. As long as there is prosperity in the land(and I dont mean the 10%) then they can remain in charge.

I must note that my system of socialism might differ from the lowest form taught to you in capitalist schools to discredit the socialist.

What does being run by a socialist or capitalist economy have to do with choice?lol

Marxism is communism and is not really classified as socialist because it is run by an Oligarchy(Instead of one dictator there are a few of them). Rule of the few. Similar to America and the 1%. Though the American Oligarchs control from behind the scenes.

My fictional GOD?lol My GOD gives me free will. Are you saying everyone should have the choice to individual choose what economic system they want?lol. Your argument is weak.lol

Really? If there is a GOD, HE would be for Marxism? How can that be if the Book apparently inspired by GOD is anti-Capitalistic in nature?

In socialism, yes people may feel forced to provide for the less fortunate, but they will also reap many of the direct and indirect benefits. Low crime rate, security, ect... Now to the Christian in a socialist society? NONE should feel forced to provide for the less unfortunate. Though they should make sure that money is spent where it was collected to be spent! May I remind you that the early Church and beginning of the Kingdom Jesus established was socialist in nature?

I have been having this discussion on another board and these are also things I have noticed about capitalism.

Capitalism caters to corruption because the people making the most money to invest ARE the criminals......

One thing I've learned. You put a man in a position to be tempted? Many will fall. You have to remove the temptation. Capitalism adds to the temptation. The lure of wealth.

Man has survived for centuries without capitalism via trade. A Farmer does NOT need capitalism to sustain them. Especially now when people are starting to live off the grid. Something that the capitalist oil companies and electrical companies have been trying to prevent for decades by hiding technology that goes against their interests. That is capitalism. It is counter progress.

Here are more of my thoughts.

The problem is there is no way to check the greed capitalism creates. When Capitalism was first created? Initially the Government would tax all businesses so that the businesses never became more powerful then the government. And that money was used to help out all the people left out of capitalism, because a capitalist society cannot employ everyone. If it did, the markets would be saturated quickly. Look at the trouble all this shift work is causing? I'd personally never work those "dog hours". Unfortunately many people are FORCED to, to feed their families, who they see very little of......

Then the capitalists started stacking the deck with their candidate puppets. Once in power, they were giving all kinds of corporate welfare(tax payer money) to their associates. Next thing you know? The companies are making more money then the government(at the expense of the tax payer) and now THEY are running the show and not the government, and they are accountable to no one. This is how democracy and capitalism failed.

My concern, having given your posts a very cursory glance, is that both Communism and Capitalism had their time in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Whe Marx started to develop his ideas he was reacting to a system of society that was rotten and one in which most people were exploited. Engels explains. Capitalism was born of the industrial revolution, a time of almost total innocence of the world and its resources. So both systems as 'written' have passed their sell by date. It is now 2012 and the time for debating Marx, Lenin, Mill, Smith et al is passing. We need new ways to live. We need new ideas. We have huge amounts of information literally at our finger tips but we dont know how to use it or what to do with it. The worst kinds of capitalism still exploit albeit behind very high national boundaries. The worst kinds of socialism still disrupt unnecesarily, the worst kinds of fiction based faiths still govern some men's minds.
A few things are certain and must form part of any plan devised for our future. The first and most important is that man must divest himself of, as Dawkins calls it, the god delusion. All men and all gods. Secondly we must live within the possibilities of the planet whatever those may be. And third and probably the one thing that will prevent progress and the future sustainability of human existence, we must accept and respect all other men.
But I am, like you, just one of seven billion, so what chance is there?

I have the ideas as do many. Unfortunately the powers that control(The super elite) will not allow those ideas to come into being implemented because it will go against their interests. Making money.

I believe religion has a positive influence on society if interpreted correctly. The problem is men who are greedy twist religion to serve their own greed.

Capitalism was born when fiat money was introduced. The Kings no longer had a monopoly on wealth. The banks did. What is the worst kind of socialism? True socialism is every working for the common good of all citizens. How can that be abused?

Read the book of Acts. It speaks of how the church should run. Jesus hated the rich.Thats why he threw them out of the temple.

I've read the book of acts,,,, and there's nothing in it that condones the type of theft wiseones2cents is promoting. Early CXhristians had a choice to live the life wiseones2cents is promoting. Not mandate it on everyone/anyone else.

His beliefs are in conflict with more than one of the 10 commandments. Why look elsewhere in the bible to prove marxism, or any form of it relates to God?. It's the exact opposite if you actually read (the bible) it all.

I don't have time to rip you a new asshole at this hour. At this moment. I'll get back to this sometime shortly.

I have read the bible you obviosly have your own version of it.

Jesus loves charity, and I'm sure having a great deal of wealth allows one to engage much more easily in patroning charities.

Well, better one out-of-context example than a whole list of relevant quotes. By context, I mean that Jesus would have thrown out fish merchants and basket weavers if they had been trying to run a business inside of a holy temple.
