Well, admittedly that is an assumption, based on what he writes about his study habits, and whom he associated with in his own book Dreams of My father. It is my experience that the kind of kids hanging in those groups are not usually on the Dean's list.

Apparently you once again don't know what you are talking about. The Bush era program was shut down long before Obama came to office. Obama's admin started up a similar program, the big differences being that the Obama admin didn't feel the need to include the Mexican officials and the Obama admin got a US Agent killed.

McCain only produced two years. Romney has produced 2010 and plans to release 2011 when done. I don't recall the left getting so bent when McCain only released two.

That is just bullshit. Many of the companies are still in existence today. It is a left wing myth that Bain just came in, ran up debt and then left.

Those 'target' companies were in most cases companies that were going out of business and their life was prolonged by Bain's investment. The case of the companies that Obama likes to highlight are companies that otherwise would have folded had Bain (or another PE firm) not come in and tried to turn them around.

Manchester United is a bloody good example, the Glazer brothers bought it in 2005, immediately delisted it from the Stock Exchange and proceeded to add over a billion dollars in debt to the books when it was previously debt free.
