A mass shooting took place in the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, Patch reported.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning in Oak Creek.

Police say that seven people were killed, including a gunman. Four of the dead were inside the temple, while three were outside. According to police, an officer was shot multiple times by the gunman and is currently in surgery.

Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said the temple shooting is being treated as a "domestic-type terrorist incident," and that the FBI is handling the criminal investigation.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? The Sikh are a peaceful people. They're not Muslims. They don't hate America. They have dark skin. Is that what possesses the right to post smarm such as this?

After 9-11 in Mesa Arizona a right-wing nutcase shot and killed a Sikh at a gas station. The gunman thought the Sikh was a Muslim, the Sikh was wearing a turban too?!! This shooting sounds like the same thing? These right-wing yahoo's can't tell the difference between a Sikh wearing turban and a Muslim wearing a kerchief?

Very sad. Sikhs are some of the nicest, most peaceful and generous people around. I've been to Sikh temples in Canada. They'll feed you and even let you stay overnight for free. Of course I think the religion is false but it's a lot more progressive than Christianity and a hell of a lot more tolerant than Islam. I wonder if the gunman thought they were Muslims?
