From 2001 to 2005, Rep. Lois Capps rented a room in her home to a staffer, but failed to report the income to the IRS until this year, the Daily Caller first reported.

Jeremy Tittle, a "case worker" in the California Democrat's district office, took a room in Capps' Santa Barbara home, paying $41,480 during the time he was there.

the article was a bit short on specific details, but i'm guessing that had she not had an opponent this close, it would have been 15 years of returns to amend at the next election cycle. right?

i suppose one would have to ask whether the cup is half full or half empty. one could also ponder, why is rice even with sushi. true sushi is just the fish. adding rice is considered a mortal sin by many die hard sushi affectionados.

Sashimi and sushi are different things. Rice is an ingredient in all sushi.

you know i've had this debate with many people. i thought it was sashimi as well, but the vast majority tell me that you can have japanese style sushi and that is without the rice. this guy thinks so as well:

i really don't care, i gave up caring long ago. as long as it tastes good, you can call it whatever you like. come to think of it, my favorite sushi restaurant has just the fish listed under the sushi section. there is also a separate sashimi section. i will pass on to them your deepest concerns.
