I didn't ignore the fact that the couple was married in another church. It simply wasn't relevant, because the point of the article was discrimination, not location.
1. Church never married a black couple in the 129 years of its existence. WWJD?
2. Pastor caved in to bigoted parishioners' demands that he not marry the Wilsons either. WWJD?
3. Pastor married the Wilsons in a church where the parishioners DID WHAT JESUS WOULD DO.
Frankly yurt, your comments are baffling. It's not just one racist idiot, it's all the members on the congregation who browbeat the pastor into changing the venue. If you can't see the obvious, i.e. parishioners' bigotry and pastor's cowardice, all the explanations in the world won't persuade you.
