I can't believe that you don't know the answer to this....One is people helping people freely as it always has been before the progressive slide toward governmental control. The other is top down total control by the government by taking from people to give to others. People don't mind giving when they choose to, not at the point of a gun.

Surely the recipients of the food have some thing(s) in common so wouldn't it make more sense to change the laws to deal with those folks?

Actually, the tractor trailers of food was an outcropping of Bloomberg saying that NYC residents could no longer donate to food banks. Most of the community service done in the rally was going out to help repair houses, clean up parks, doing things that the government is more increasingly saying we can not do.

Regardless of the blatent lies being told in here by Howie, and Zappa, the thread is about the enthusiasm gap Obama has today, and the rise in enthusiasm by the right today..The Ohio event that had 14K people had some 4,000 seats empty...That didn't happen in '08..But as usual rather than discuss it honestly the libs in here have to distract, deflect, attack, and obfuscate....liars all of em.

Then perhaps it's time to change that culture. Instead of depicting the isolated cases of welfare recipients selling drugs or leaving Costco with a big screen TV show the thousands of families trying to feed their children on the shameful little they receive.
