Ok, just some facts for ya...Glenn Beck is the number three syndicated talk show in the country only slightly behind Limbaugh, and Hannity. He (Beck) trends nationally 20 Million listeners, and another 5 Million added on that subscribe to his internet network. Beck is on over 280 stations nationwide, and on satellite radio on Sirius/XM daily.

Now I am not trying to offend, but doubtful that you were, or are even close to the numbers Beck draws.

So what does that say about America that the top three syndicated talk show hosts are a Nazi, A Moron and A Nutjob?

The fact remains that in the market where I resided and worked in the Spring of 92, I garnered a 50 share, meaning a full 50% of all radios in use and able to receive the station's signal during my show were tuned to me.

Becks same market share at the same time period opposite of you in the same market? That's highly doubtful. You see, much of this would have to do with who your competition was, were you up against the Old Time Gospel Hour? Was your major competitor the Local Farm Report? We don't know, you haven't told us. Also, who was your 'lead-in?' Was it Rush Limbaugh? That might cause your numbers to be a little higher than if your 'lead-in' was the Farm Report. Did your station do up-to-the-minute traffic reports? If so, perhaps THAT is why so many tuned in? Again... we don't know. Maybe your station was the only one playing decent rock-n-roll? Might not have a fucking thing to do with YOU! ....WE DON'T KNOW!!

Tickets on ticketmaster were sold out for this event on the Thursday before the event, and the purpose of the day other than the show on Saturday was to gather people to volunteer helping people that couldn't help themselves, and gather food, and donations for the needy.

It is no surprise that Howey has to come in this thread and lie about the attendance, and deride the mission, and purpose of that event which BTW served Thousands that needed assistance...They filled 14 Tractor Trailers with food to be delivered to 14 different cities food banks this week...

And Obama can't even sell out his kick off for the Presidential campaign...

Not to change the subject but can someone explain to me why folks like Beck and his right wing followers, while knowing the needs of the poor and actively working to help them by filling 14 Tractor Trailers with food, support politicians who oppose social policies? Surely the recipients of the food have some thing(s) in common so wouldn't it make more sense to change the laws to deal with those folks?
For example, if they are on welfare why didn't Beck get the 65,000 Dallas residents who showed up for the event sign a petition demanding the Texas Legislature increase benefits or have a special subsidy? Or, at the very least, not vote for politicians who oppose benefits for the poor.

The Local Farm Report. That brought back memories. Going back to '85 my brother and his family and I and my son and daughter were camping and on one rainy Sunday while sitting at a pik-nik table under a make shift tarp/shelter we listened to the Local Farm Report.
