The next Olympic controversy - To dip or not to dip

It's a southern thing. Southern women like their men to be a little bit crazy. That' s why rock stars and preachers are so popular with the ladies down there.

Wouldn't you love to put him and the Darlak in a room together and lock the door!!

By the way, I am watching the Olympic road race at the moment.

You can be such a twit Dixie. We have adopted many traditions from the French, where the hell do you think most of the ideals of the Enlightenment came from that influenced our founding fathers political views?

Oh and Noblesse Oblige means that those who are priveleged and earn public office are obliged to lead and manage responsibly and conduct themselves honorably and not like some backward ideological nitwit.

So go readicus a bookus!

A most excellent response

Actually we're know for rebellion and hospitality. And Darla can often be just as rude and obtuse. You have a different perspective is all.
True. Ya'll are known for rebellion and hospitality. Though you're not to good at the former and quite good at the later.

We kind of made a name for ourselves by defying protocol... it's what we're all about.

In all seriousness, we think we're Americans, and can do whatever we bloody damn well please, because no one can stop us. Lucky for you we believe in peace through strength, and are the stewards of liberty and freedom around the world. It would be really fucked up for you if we were tyrannical.

Noblesse oblige? I think that must be French for something, but we don't have many French traditions here.

Ever hear the term: Fuckofficus and Eatshiticus?

Leave it to Dixie to take PRIDE in being the most uncouth!

Ever hear the term 'classless turd'? 'Presumptuous boor'? 'UGLY American'?

:rofl2:

Darla is not intentionally rude and obtuse .. which is called "tradition" in the south.
I don't know about that. As a southerner one could say Dixie is a few ears shy of a cornfield where as Darla being a New Yorker would probably cut your heart out with a spoon ifin you cross her.

You have a different perspective on what the south is known for my brother.

Somehow you missed the south's biggest "contribution" to history.

But she'll maintain her class while she's cutting out your heart .. and the knife she'll be using is called intellect. :0) Very sharp.
