before. like i showed you and you admitted - the right was preexisting. you even admitted this, yet, claim in some weird convoluted logic, that the right, though preexisting, didn't actually exist until the second amendment --> which only served to PROTECT that right.

I loathe idiots with reading comprehension issues that try to pretend they are intelligent.

the right to bear arms predates the constitution. the 2nd Amendment tells government that it shall not be infringed. to more directly answer your question, the right to bear arms came in to existence the second man found out how to make and use weapons.

Retard - it doesn't matter. That's the point, gomer. Until it's written down as law - by men - 'inalienable' doesn't grant you jack shit. The right is nonexistent until it's 'protected' by a law enacted to provide for that.

How about blacks? When did they become whole human beings - before or after it was written down?

If they were whole all along (obviously), did their 'rights' just kick in - or did laws have to be changed first?

your claim is that all people who have lived on our planet, never had rights...................until..............a government gave them their rights. so how did they live? how did they breathe? how did they eat?

ooooops. you just admitted they were always whole. thus, their rights were always there. it only took the government to LATER -- here is the key point, pay attention -- to PROTECT that PREEXISTING right.

stated another way.....if you have a right to eat an ice cream cone, but your older sibling keeps taking away your ice cream cone....and i step in (as the parent or whatever) and tell him or her....hey, you cannot infringe on her eating an ice cream cone.

your logic is -- you were never allowed to eat an ice cream cone until the parents stepped in. do you really believe that is how rights are created?
