It's Not the Tax Returns - It's the Arrogance

So this election is only about Obama's failure?
Not what Mitt will do to fix things?
Figures.
Partisan hack.

I would be THRILLED if our Federal government stopped trying to "fix things" when it comes to the economy. Instead merely avoid breaking it so it doesnt need constant fixing. .

Arrogance is relative.....

Have you seen Obama's

Occidental College records
Financial Aid Records
Columbia College records
Columbia thesis — “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament”
Harvard College records
Harvard Law Review articles — None
Medical records — Not released

He was asked hundreds of times to show the country who he is and hes refused......

Now thats freakin' Arrogance

You can't bullshit your way out of it, both Obama and Bush submitted a decade's worth of tax returns. Romney has to do the same or he is fucked!!!

He won't produce his tax records because...

1. he paid no taxes on the millions he made while he supposedly was not the head of Bane but was still on the payroll as CEO.
2. in his religion he is a god and gods can do no wrong and when he speaks it's the word of god, so like his wife said, 'shut the fuck up'

but the most important point...

3. he didn't pay his cult their full 10% and he doesn't want the other gods to find out about it.

Let's do a hypothetical here....If Romney did release them, and there was nothing there out of bounds, or illegal, would you vote for him?

Ok, thanks for being honest. So tell me why Romney should give two shits about what you are demanding?

I'm not demanding it. He's being asked to supply what Obama and other presidents have. If he doesn't, he can accept the consequences. Easy-peasy.

I doubt it. One or two years will give a large enough picture of their lives. We can see that even when he wasn't running for stuff he gave a ton to charity and to his church... and most Americans know that the IRS checks his crap and we'd have heard about it when and if he ever was audited. Seriously, this release your tax records stuff is weak, IMO. I have no real further interest in Obama's tax return, I have far more interest in his college thesis and other past experience... it may give me a clue as to why he sucks so bad at this job.

It is admirable he is so charitable, and it is a law of his church that he tithe 10%, it isn't a choice if you wish to remain a member in good standing, a Temple elder, to some a god.

What I want to know as an a citizen of the USA is how much is in tax shelters and hw much invested in the USA. If he wants to be my President he needs to believe in the USA and not tax havens!

Imagine being taxed on 30 million, only getting to keep 15 million. Oh, the humanity. The horror.

:rofl2:

Sorry, I have to throw the Bull flag on that one....Here educate yourself...

Although the U.S. president is one of the most visible people in the country, the president's finances have often been closely guarded. But after Richard Nixon's vice president, Spiro Agnew, pleaded no contest in 1973 to tax evasion, the public became increasingly interested in financial disclosures from the president's office.

Since the 1976 election, presidential candidates have released at least one year of tax returns. After winning that election, Jimmy Carter then set the precedent for all sitting presidents and vice presidents to release their returns each year. Since 1984, the standard for challengers to an incumbent president has been to disclose at least two years of returns...

and here..

“There is no standard,” said Joseph J. Thorndike, director of the Tax History Project at Tax Analysts, a nonprofit, nonpartisan publisher of tax information. “Some candidates have released a lot more returns and others about the same number. It depends on the particular politics at the time and if they are trying to pressure the people they are running against to release more of their returns. Someone will release a lot of returns when they think they have an advantage over their opponent.”

In 2008, for example, he said, Barack Obama released seven years of tax returns to pressure then-Democratic primary opponent Hillary Clinton to follow suit.

But while a search for a standard is hopeless, and Romney is not out-of-bounds compared with what others have released, Thorndike said...

The fact of the matter is that demo's only want more Romney returns because they hope that there is more to pick apart (legal, or not) with Romney's wealth...Demo's scream about releasing 12 years for two reasons, 1. because they want to see if Romney declared CEO status of Bain on the years 1998 thru 2002, and 2. because they are running on empty as far as their campaign goes and they feel the need to inform us that Romney is, now keep this a secret, RICH!

It's a stupid request with so much going on that is relevant in the campaign like the economy, and jobs....Carter released, wait for it 1 year, ONE! Hell, Obama only released 7 years, and that was to pressure Hillary...So why the call for 12 out of Romney?

I think Romney is correct, McCain released two years, and Romney will do the same....NEXT!

Yeah, good. Then Romney will lose. Next!

How do you know it's not my money? Maybe some of it is?

What if I'm one of the employees who lost their job because Bain was hired to 'help' the company I worked for?

Still not your money...Romney earned his money through a myriad of ways, investment, pay, interest...etc...None of that came out of your pocket.
