I was trying reaally hard not to get dragged into this, but I failed.
Again, this is a subjective statement by the coworker, people can get offended based on almost anything. "Give it long enough and he'll be just another African Warlord" can be taken as racist both in the warlord statement or the underlying implication that all africans are the same. Spend enough hours with somebody and you can deliberately misinterpret them into oblivion.
Arguing whether zimmerman is racist or not is never getting anywhere, one side shows up with "proof" one way, then the other with "proof" the other way.

Actually the 12 year old Trayvon was not going "right home". Surveillance video shows he left 7-11 between 6:10 and 6:30. Only had a 0.8 mile walk home. Young kid like him should have been home with his skittles by 7:00 which is when his fateful rendezvous with the innocent George Zimmerman.
My guess is that I'd the accused called himself Jorge Gonzalez and was here illegally you wouldn't be making such a big stink. But since his last name is all Jew sounding it is a good foil to get the base all riled up for election time.
I bet if Trayvon had a dog it would have looked just like the dog OWEbama ate
