Obama's Speech my comments.

I think Obama's speech was spot on. Trickle down economics has been an utter failure. All it did was make the wealthy, wealthier and the poor poorer. I agree that the strength of an economy is the middle class. A healthy middle class consumes and consumption means sales and sales means business men are making money. I think the NUMBER ONE thing that should be looked at is affordable housing and energy. A very large portion of our income goes to these overpriced commodities.

I disagree with only one thing Obama stated. He stated that the economy is at a stand still because of the recession. Though the question you have to ask yourself is WHY is America in a recession? Answer? OUTSOURCING! Outsourcing has not only taken Jobs out of the economy, which equates to income and consumption/development, but also Tax income for government.

I want other countries to rise out of poverty but not at the expense of North Americans! I want their own Federal Reserves to create funds for their own sovereign purposes. Just Like America did. Again. I propose a one world currency. And work to give all earthlings equal opportunities.

P.S. I am pleased that the health care reform passed the test, though further steps must be taken. Foreign countries are giving the same services if not better for a small fraction of the cost of American health care. Basically stating that America healthcare workers are over paid....

I live in Florida.. in my section, we only have one source for our power and that's 'Florida power & light'..

anyway, I got a recorded call the other day reminding me to pay my bill...and it was a British women on the recording..

WTF?I can see outsourcing some things, but a recorded British voice for a FL-based company? can't my state find.. I don't know.. a Floridan to voice the message? HA!

Basically stating that America healthcare workers are over paid....

Why automatically blame it on the workers? HMO's with overheads over 30%, top heavy management with overpaid hospital administrators come to my mind long before healthcare workers.

Agreed but they are part of the health care worker field. I guess it's all part of "trickle down" economics. (note sarcasm).

I think you over state outsourcing. It sounds good politically but that fact is, we have lost more jobs in the labor market to computers, automation and robotics than we have to outsourcing. Most of the manufacturing jobs outsourced over seas are low paying small OEM manufacturers.

The plutocrats think everyone but themselves are over paid.
