attitudes towards convicted child rapists/murderers

I've seen quite a few people, both on here and in real life, espouse the belief that being raped and beaten in prison on a daily basis is a just punishment for men convicted of the crime of raping and killing young children. Do alot of you here support that kind of 'justice' in prison or just plain don't care what happens to people behind the prison walls for crimes like these?

I think people who victimize children in the brutal fashion you describe shouldn't be in prison, they should be rotting in the ground so no, I don't give a shit what happens to them in prison.

so I can categorize you in the extremely short sighted group of people? How would you feel afterwards, then, if someone you didn't give a shit about what happened to them and they were brutally tortured and killed in prison and nobody was held accountable? say this guy?

A Chicago man who spent more than 30 years behind bars before DNA evidence helped overturn his conviction in the rape and killing of a 3-year-old girl was released from prison late Friday, just hours after prosecutors dropped the case against him.

An Illinois appeals court in March had ordered a new trial for 50-year-old Andre Davis after tests found that DNA taken from the scene of the 1980 killing of Brianna Stickle wasn't his. The girl was attacked in Rantoul, about 20 miles north of Champaign.

Davis was released from the super-maximum security prison in Tamms in far southern Illinois around 7:30 p.m., said Illinois Department of Corrections spokeswoman Kayce Ataiyero. Champaign County State's Attorney Julia Rietz had decided earlier in the day not to pursue charges against him.

LOL, I laid out the question as people knew it when they convicted this guy and for a minimum of 25 years after. It was a candid experiment on the short sightedness of statists, like yourself, and you fell right in to it by displaying your ambivalence to anothers plight once the gov has done what they wanted to do.
