If the government didn't have drones someone would figure out how to build them. Picture a car dealer flying one over the neighborhood and a few days later you get a letter saying they noticed your car was an older model and they have a sale going on. Or a landscape company soliciting on the phone saying they noticed your lawn was looking a little brown in spots. Or a roofing company dropping a flyer in your mail box saying they noticed your roof needed repair.

Home Depot noticed your back deck looks a little scruffy and they have stain on sale. And it looks like your B-B-Q has seen better days.
