I'm attending a Professional Development Course this week. Customs & Courtesies, Drill & Ceremony, Profession of Arms, ANG/AF Heritage, Effective Writing/Speaking, Leadership, etc.

With that in mind, America is the greatest nation on Earth, bar none!! HUA!!! :usflag:

You said the same thing about Notre Dame Football......you're track record for being right aint to hot.
 
I said I was a fan, but then, during the speech I just gave about myself, I joked about how I've been watching the Mariners lose since 1990, and declared that since the Rangers have made it to the Series, that makes Seattle the worst franchise in baseball.

Notre Dame at least has an amazing history. Also, it no longer has Charlie Weiss, and commentators and fans no longer get excited to see Brady Quinn in gold and navy blue.

I am a die-hard Alabama fan. Our fans are as rabid as they get. But we had years that we knew we weren't going to win it all. Notre Dame fans don't seem to grasp that. lol

America was at it's greatest during the 60's, before the conservative revolution sank in and destroyed everything that was great about this nation.

Look at where we rank in terms of education, infant mortality, average income, Healthcare ect ect, and you see we are not even close to the top.


The USA ranks #1 in 3 categories I know of. Percentage of population incarcerated, percentage of population who believe angels are literally real, and money spent on defense. Other than those, we are usually not in the top 10.


And as far as money spent on defense, we are ranked #1 by a WIDE margin.

GDP as well. Also, we're third in population, although there's a considerable gulf between America and India. Also, a huge amount of arable land.

Individualism is a poisonous ideology. America was greatest when the poisonous tradition of individualism was at its weakest, gnawing away at this countries great traditions the least. That's why America was great in the 40's, because individualism had rightly been put in its place.

Brady Quinn played high school football about a mile down the road from where I live. My wife attends the same church as his family.
