(CNN) -- A profanity-laced video of middle school students in upstate New York verbally abusing a bus monitor is sparking an outpouring of support as strangers worldwide rally to her side.

Students taunted Karen Klein, 68, with a stream of profanity, insults, jeers and physical ridicule. Some boys demand to know her address, saying they want to come to her house to perform sexual acts and steal from her. Another said, "you're so fat."

One comment from a boy aboard the bus was especially painful. He told her that she does not have family because "they all killed themselves because they didn't want to be near you." Klein's oldest son took his own life 10 years ago, according to CNN affiliate WHAM.

The lady was a fucking idiot, why the hell would she sit their and take that shit from a bunch of little bastards? Have no idea what a fucking bus monitor does, but if she is supposed to baby sit those little fuckers, she should have told the bus driver to pull the bus over and start kicking the little fuckers off.

This shit would NEVER have been tolerated before the liberal takeover and war on what we jokingly call "family values"....


first the teacher wacked you, then the principal, and when you got home one or both your parents laid into you.....you learned to respect people, one way or another, the choice was yours.

Now the animals run the zoo and nice kids suffer along with the rest of us....

I consider myself fairly liberal as far as culture is concerned. I'm more or less an atheist, I'm for gay marriage, etc. But this is one cultural issue where I am very conservative. Liberalism has a track record of producing children who are cruel, immoral, vicious mother fuckers.

My children are all loving, thriving young adults, you are sadly mistaken in your analysis. Raising children takes time, love, patience and dedication. The reason why children misbehave have little to do with corporal punishment and a lot to do with parents who don't have the time or take the time to be involved with their children.

My daughter's friend who is ultra conservative sent her child to the local Southern Baptist school, she wouldn't eat her lunch so the teacher cracked her hands with a wooden spoon, she went ballistic on the teacher! It isn't just liberal parents who don't want their children "whacked" by others and don't whack them, either.

I went to Catholic school, and there were some pretty wild and crazy kids, one of my schoolmates went on a killing spree, killed a bunch of people at a 7-11. His parents were seriously strict, didn't save him!

You can't always predict how your kids will behave once they're out of your sight.

I do find it typical that conservatives, who always need a scapegoat for everything that goes wrong, despite claiming to be the 'personal responsibility' folks, automatically pin the cause of this bullying on liberals.
 
I clicked on this thread because I heard about this story. Never in a gazillion years did I expect to find right-wing hacks trying to fault "liberals" for something like this.

I can't imagine anything so desperate, or ill-conceived. Reminds me of the days when Dano used to roam these boards....

Children on the bus hurl repeated insults and threats at the grandmother, calling her fat and at one point suggesting that her children commit suicide.
But donations have since poured in for the grandmother in hopes that she’ll take a “vacation of a lifetime,” according to fundraising site indiegogo.com. As of midday Thursday, a total of $201,925 had been received for Klein and the video had been viewed on YouTube more than 1.5 million times.

i don't really see how liberalism is to blame here. whether you are conservative or liberal, it is mostly the way you are brought up at home that matters. also, these are just middle schoolers. they could have the most the conservative parents, but when the kids get to school, they act like the dumb teenagers they are. bringing back corporal punishment is not the answer. not is making conservatism the ideology in raising our kids.

Girls would not dare to fight each other like animals then....

Outline for us how liberals created kids who say filth, fight each other and bully others. Draw us a picture, brain trust.
 
As a bus monitor she can't kick people off the bus while in transit. The most she can do is write down the names and send in a "referral" to the Principal's office and refuse to allow them entry in the future, basically, "Don't bother trying to get on when it is time to go home, you no longer have the privilege." The kids would have to find another way to and from school at their parents' cost.
 
this is not a liberal problem, it's an asshole problem. and for all we know those kids could be super conservative douches. those children should be executed.

Pain doesn't make you more respectful, it just makes you keep your mouth shut.

Now I'm not saying these kids don't need a good punch in the mouth, but it doesn't teach respect, only compliance.
