Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, who survived last week's recall election, said presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney won't beat President Obama unless he offers "bold" ideas.

"I don't think we win if it's just about a referendum on Barack Obama," Walker said on "Face the Nation."

The Wisconsin governor disagreed with a recent statement made by presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney that Wisconsin voters opposed to "big government" reject the hiring of more teachers, police officers and firefighters.

"I know in my state our reform allowed us to protect firefighters, police officers and teachers; that's not what I think when I think of big government," said Walker on "Face the Nation."

Walker was responding to a statement Romney made on Friday, in which the GOP presidential challenger said President Obama "wants to add more to government. He wants another stimulus, he wants to hire more government workers. He says we need more firemen, more policeman, more teachers. Did he not get the message of Wisconsin?"

Yeah, I'd say his assessment is accurate. Mitt needs to bring forward plans, bold new ideas, or he will likely lose to Obama.

Doesn't Mitt have some bold new plans and ideas already?

Some... During the campaign he'll need to bring forward the ideas to "sell" them, as well as IMO, coming up with bold new solutions to issues he has yet to address. It's a campaign, it's what they do.

While the 2008 election literally was a "I'm not Bush" moment, this next campaign will be centered on policies.

One thing you'll notice is the candidate who first goes all negative. That is the one that is the likely loser...

Please list the "some" ideas you ascribed to Romney.

Thanks.

While the 2008 election literally was a "I'm not Bush" moment, this next campaign will be centered on policies.

So "I'm not Obama/Anybody but Obama" isn't resonating?

Which policies of Obama's are bad?

One thing you'll notice is the candidate who first goes all negative. That is the one that is the likely loser...

More prognostication?

Please list the "some" ideas you ascribed to Romney.

Thanks.
Please list some ideas I personally have ascribed to Romney.

So "I'm not Obama/Anybody but Obama" isn't resonating?
It will not, IMO, be what wins the campaign. Although it will resonate with some people.

Which policies of Obama's are bad?
Many threads are dedicated to that. Please read some of them.

More prognostication?
More historic knowledge. It isn't difficult to see what has worked, and what has not, in the past. Your RCDD is showing again.

Please list some ideas I personally have ascribed to Romney.

That's what I'm asking you to do.

You said he's got "some".

Some... During the campaign he'll need to bring forward the ideas to "sell" them...

What are they?

It will not, IMO, be what wins the campaign. Although it will resonate with some people.

What sort of people will it resonate with, in your opinion?

Many threads are dedicated to that. Please read some of them.

So you can't think of any?

More historic knowledge. It isn't difficult to see what has worked, and what has not, in the past...

If it's historic knowledge, then you can produce some examples, can't you?

That's what I'm asking you to do.

You said he's got "some".
So I didn't list any for you to say I ascribed them to him?

What are they?
What are what?

What sort of people will it resonate with, in your opinion?
People who do not like Obama's policies enough that they believe that even a lesser evil is better than him. ABO will work with people who believe that still more massive debt than before is not the solution to a debt problem.

So you can't think of any?

More RCDD. I can read the threads, and you can misread them. But they are there. Are you saying you are incapable of remembering yesterday?

If it's historic knowledge, then you can produce some examples, can't you?

I did. I mentioned the 2008 where a simple "I'm not Bush" worked. Can you produce ones that show my assessment of this one to be incorrect?

So I didn't list any for you to say I ascribed them to him?

Must be that reading disorder you claim I've got, Doc Damo. You said he had "some", but I don't see any specifics. Got any?

What are what?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Nope.

Are you saying you can't articulate Obama's bad policies?

I did. I mentioned the 2008 where a simple "I'm not Bush" worked. Can you produce ones that show my assessment of this one to be incorrect?

Did I say I could?

So you admit I didn't "ascribe" any such thing?

You could go here:

Click on the link and read about each of his current ideas.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
k

Nope.

Are you saying you can't articulate Obama's bad policies?
So you are saying you cannot read the threads that have already articulated such things? I'm personally saying I don't like repetition.

Did I say I could?
So you admit ignorance of political history in the US?

So you admit I didn't "ascribe" any such thing?

So when you said Romney had "some", you weren't sure what they were?

You could go here: http://www.mittromney.com/Issues Click on the link and read about each of his current ideas.

I have gone there and done that.

Which of Romney's ideas and solutions are "bold" and "new", in your opinion?

So you are saying you cannot read the threads that have already articulated such things? I'm personally saying I don't like repetition.

So you personally can't list a single "bad policy" of Obama's?

Did I say that?

I have gone there and done that.

Link to a few that interest you, we'll discuss if they are bold. However, "new" you added by yourself. Unless you can tell me where in this sentence from your OP you can find the word "new"?

So you personally can't list a single "bad policy" of Obama's?

So, you personally have no memory of what we have spoken of on this board for the past 3.5 years and finally admit you cannot read with even the smallest actual comprehension?

Did I say that?
Did you?

Did I say "new" was in the OP?

Yeah, I'd say his assessment is accurate. Mitt needs to bring forward plans, bold new ideas, or he will likely lose to Obama.

Recognize that quote?

So which of Mitt's ideas and solutions are "new" or "bold"?

So, you personally have no memory of what we have spoken of on this board for the past 3.5 years and finally admit you cannot read with even the smallest actual comprehension?

Did I say that? I asked what "bad policies" of Obama's you referred to. Can you name them?

Did I?

Of course we don't know what Mittens will do, the elders haven't told him yet. When the 'church' tells him, he will do it.

Religious bigot. Some idiot bigots said the same thing about Kennedy and the Catholic church... You have some company there, hope you are proud of it.

Leave the bigotry to the rightwingers like RacistX, USFreeDumb911, and Blabo.

It's hilarious that Damo the dancin' Dalai can't seem to bear to post a single new or bold idea of Romney's, isn't it?

Would you care to show a single example of my supposed "bigotry", rootbeer?
