Of course they hold sway - the sanctimonious and hypocritical ones certainly do, because they're hilarious and I enjoy having a good laugh at their expense.

It's ok the Jews and the Muslims think the same thing. Some are just more polite about it than others. Mormons for example can be incredibly patronizing when they think they're the only ones going to heaven. Just makes you want to discriminate against them.

I take the same issue with Muslims, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc., that I do with Xtians - my issue is their sanctimony, their hypocrisy and their need to control others.

They're free to believe whatever they want to, what's in the bible, the Quran, the Torah, or whatever other writings they hold sacred. Fine with me. I have my own opinions about the validity of the content as it applies to the world today, now that we have the benefit of knowledge that none of the writers had then, but we're still a world run by mortal men with control issues who've found other ways to oppress people. Many more constructs exist today, far beyond the threat of eternal damnation.

Religion is silly to me. All of it.

I never said I was trying to "recruit" anyone.
Everyone on here is an adult, or at least old enough to be one, and are more then free to make their own choices.
