So it's very interesting. A media study came out last week showing that on women's issues, men are called on five times more often to discuss than women are. This means that say you are watching the nightly news and OMG, someone said there's a war on women! So the news show producer decided they needed to get a couple of men on the program to find out what they think about it. No matter what the issue, abortion, birth control, rape, Planned parenthood, the first question the men running the news and cable networks naturally ask is: what do the menz think? And I think this board reflects this. Just to let all of you know...I am one bitch who doesn't give a flying fuck what any of the menz think.
PiMP says no law has ever been passed that limits contraception. Don't you believe him?
If a pharmacists refuses to sell you some product available in the store you need to see the store manager, file a complaint, and visit a different drug store....
If a pharmacists refuses to fill a valid prescription, you need a lawyer and file suit, then visit a new drug store.....
In either case just wtf is your issue ?
Yeah, I wanted them to pay for mine too, but they refused......but of course, I didn't whine and cry about it, I just purchased my own....
Come to think of it....wth should ins. co. pay to anybodys contraception....?
Birth control isn't a health issue.....its a sex issue......pregnancy isn't a disease....
Do you want them to cover your soap, toothpaste, maxi-pads, etc. too...????
It IS contraception you're talking about, right......and not medicine for a physical medical problem.....
Of course you are, ......you'd have to be a moron not the recognize they are two different things even though they are the same product.
Did I make something up ????
thank you....having never taken a drunk home from a bar to have sex with her, I was unaware of all of this.....I bow to your experience......though not to your intelligence....
only if your stuck in the 1800s.......oh, wait......you are.....
\\()// showed you to be the ignorant fool that you are yet you still keep spouting. It's all quite humorous.
really?.....and I have shown YOU to be a fool for saying there is anyone, here and now, planning on making contraception illegal.....and all you can do is thank Legion for showing something that happened over a hundred years ago......
it sad enough that you're clinging at straws, but to have to claim Legion saved your ass in a debate?.....that's about as sad as it can get....
Listen, you ignorant turd, (I just may take a liking to ad homs)The point is the morning after pill is a contraceptive and pharmacists are not obliged to dispense it. I don't care if there is a law prohibiting contraceptives or a law allowing pharmacists to refuse to dispense contraceptives. The result is the same. Women are denied contraceptives and it it's a very bad policy/custom/call it what you want. A woman living in a rural area may drive a fair distance to a drug store only to be denied the morning after pill. She may then decide to drive another considerable distance or she may not and take a chance. Then there's those who oppose abortion. So, in effect, the goal is to force her to bear a child. A sneaky, underhanded, vile approach taken by Republican Conservatives, those religious imitating scum.
Women wouldn't have a problem if they could pick their BC pills off the shelf, as men do with condoms.
If all they want is a 'birth control' device, and don't have the money for the 'Cadillac versions' ,....condoms will have to do....and as an extra advantage, they protect against STD's that pills and the like, do not.

What does birth control really cost ?
It varies, from $9 a month for generic pills to $90 a month for some of the newest brands - plus a doctor's visit for the prescription.

Doctors visit should be covered (?) and $9 a month is peanuts.....give up 1 martini for each month........and demand that generic BC pills be sold otc , why not ?
If they want BC pills for a medical problem, that should be covered by insurance.....
Personally, I think the insurance co.'s should make some kind of concessions for coverage....
oh look, Bravo's all up in women's vaginas conducting inspections and handing out medical advice and scripts again!
I never made such a statement.
Not so...I can't take the smell anymore.....
The use of condoms is hardly medical advice....its something ever kid in 6th grade knows....
You hardly ever do, so this made me laugh!
