Is this the kind of guy who'd make a good candidate for a concealed weapons permit?

Police in Washington gave him one, based on that state's "shall issue" law, which says that officials must award concealed weapons permits to anyone who meets the standards...

is denying a fundamental right ok if people aren't wealthy, politically connected, or approved by law enforcement?

It is often the American way.

Celebs seldom spend jail time for drug use and such do they?
Rich kids did not have to go to nam.

In america you get as much "justice" as you can afford.

These are the facts.

Your buddy asked, Blabo.

Take it up with him.

Poor Blabo.

Thats right, AssWipe......he ASKED.....

He didn't claim anyone SAID anything......so your question was as stupid as you......

See, thats called reading comprehension....something you obviously lack.....

Poor AssWipe.....you're dismissed

Please clarify what you mean by "Arming Everyone."? That can have multiple meanings. That can mean anything from some agency (Government or private sector) indiscriminately providing free guns to everyone with out proper cause or adequate training. Who in their right mind wouldn't oppose that? On the flip side that could also mean by "Arming Everyone" that we are providing all qualified citizens with the right to arm and defend themselves to protect life and property. Which just about everyone supports. So which do you mean?

So the anwer to you question depends on the context in which you meant it so would you please clarify that?

Or are you just trolling again?

From the article cited in the OP:

Gun enthusiasts will point out, rightly, that somebody like Stawicki, who set out to commit mass murder, probably wouldn't worry much about breaking a concealed weapons law. Even without his permit, he still would have walked into that cafe packing heat. Others will argue...that if somebody in the cafe had been armed, he or she could have shot Stawicki...
