that is why you are required to wear ear protection inside and i wear ear protection at outdoor ranges too

however, imo, it would take something like a 50 cal magnum to make enough noise to be a bother outside the range at a few hundred feet
 
I always try and ask about the ventilation system or air filtration if I am going to spend much time at a range. I can take care of teh noise myself by wearing hearing protection when I shoot. But the air is a different matter.

quite right, the smoke can get fairly thick and ear protection is always a requirement as there is certain to be at least one person with a high caliber magnum pistol

Hearing protection is always a good idea. I make my daughter wear it even if we are alone at the range shooting the .22.
 
this is kinda stupid and i'm surprised that the school district wasn't informed by the council beforehand about the costs. what can they sue for anyway?

It is conneticut, though, so who knows how batshit crazy they can get.
