I just want to make sure I understand.
1. Poet lies and DY gets banned and then never apologized; but instead made excuses for his behavior.
2. Poet lies about his comment regarding Houston's Aids Awerness Day presentation and then runs like a coward, once his lying is revealed.
3. Poet tries to paint all that don't agree with him, as having "White Privilige" and that they're racist; but instead of paying attention to what anyone tries to explain to him, he blames others for his actions.
4. Poet states that he would slap any women who dared to wag her finger in his face and then tries to say that he was acting "emotionally", as if that excuses him.

And you want me to give him a pass.

OK; but what happens the next time he decides that he's all that and a bag of chips?

I've never debated about Pearl anywhere. If I were ever really bored I might find it amusing to attempt to discern whether you make these stories about me up knowing full well you're making them up, whether you confuse me with someone else, or whether you post this shit after hitting the Jack Daniels.

But I doubt I'll ever be that bored.

For someone who gets off on abusing women on the internet, often in a sexually degrading manner, you have no standing to say anything to anyone on this thread. Hypocrite.

This to me, is the exact same thing Alias said when excusing himself for following myself and others around calling us the c word. He told people to shut up because we weren't women - we were liberal c*nts.

This is why no one can ever be given license to decide who is acting like a woman deserves respect, and who isn't acting like a woman and deserves abuse. That will always be used to keep the bitches down. And I don't agree it with no matter the politics of the person doing it.

Here is the problem. We are not in a epidemic of violence against women because women are running around pulling knives and guns on men. Of course if a woman pulls a weapon on a man he should defend himself. Brewer pointed a finger. This to me is like Dick Cheney using the "But what if we find a terrorist who knows exactly where a nuclear bomb that is about to go off is?" in order to excuse torture. We aren't torturing people because they are about to set off nuclear bombs. And men aren't hitting women because they are pulling guns on them.

Look you want to pretend that all women are innocent and undeserving. There are tons of women who have committed assault and murder against men. If you think that just because you're a woman, you should be given a pass to act inappropriately, out of order, or violently, then you're not only sadly mistaken, you're mentally disturbed.
I, personally would never initiate aggression against a woman...but I'll be damned if I won't defend myself against a woman's aggression. Period.
Now if that is the deal breaker between us, then so be it. I'm not going to change who I am because of Darla's position. You're the one who is being unreasonable here.

My entire point is that all women are not anything. Women are just like men. Human beings who have both positive and negative qualities. They even have qualities that are viewed as positive when men have them.

You have a very skewed vision of what women are. I have seen you use many gendered insults against men. For one example - DY. You compare him to a vindictive, nasty woman. You know what Dy reminds me of? A vindictive, nasty man. Vindictiveness is not a female trait. It's a personality trait that some women and some men have. I've seen a lot of this from you and never said anything, mostly because you are being attacked in homophobic and gendered terms at the time.

Bend over queen? Bitch? Other names that come to mind that I can't write. They are all gendered insults. Half of homophobia is based in fear of one's own sexuality, the other half is based in misogyny, IMO. But you engage in misogyny yourself. You are certainly more than capable of seeing racism even when it is couched, so don't try and tell me you can't see sexism.

The definition of a woman is not a person who maintains all wonderful qualities. No woman has to cow-tow to you or anyone else and prove her worthiness as a woman by being sweet or demure. That is the very definition of the patriarchy which has always rewarded "good" women.

First of all, I didn't lie. I didn't remember that I had shared information from months prior. Freedom posted personal info about my appearance prior to the mentioning of me being in recovery surfaced or re-surfaced. Then DY picked up that football and started referring to me as "Patchy".
Second, I didn't lie about Houston AIDS Awareness Day, because there was no such thing (so, did Freedom "lie"?). The event was World AIDS Day, and the mayor was supposed to be in attendance, but didn't show and sent a representative in her stead. Who knew?
Third, Poet doesn't paint all that disagree with him as having white privilege. White privilege belongs to anyone who is white, whether or not they choose to employ it or take advantage of it. It has nothing to do with whether I disagree with someone or not. People who are racist are racist. Those who are not, are not. I hardly need anything explained to me. I went to school. And I am constantly absorbing new information, from news sources, books, and the internet. I am responsible for my own actions and "stuff". I'm not responsible for the actions of others.
Fourth, I would try to avoid a situation where a woman would be putting her finger in my face. Women don't have license to do it, anymore than I do.
And I don't want a pass, commentary or interaction with Freedom. He doesn't exist anymore.
I have been, am, and will always be "all that, and several bags of chips". And don't you forget it. Now, back to ignore.
