A semi-automatic or a fully automatic rifle is an “arm.”
That’s all you need to know.
We have a right to free speech, yet Republicans are trying to limit that right in the name of protecting children from drag queens.
It is my opinion, and I think I’m pretty correct here, that protecting children from this type of murder is particularly more important.
The right to bear arms is no more important than the right to free speech.

Who here will try and deny that an assault weapon was an accessory to the crime?
Who here will try and deny that an assault weapon aided and abetted the shooter in carrying out this crime?
Well there you go!
If a person was an accessory to the crime, or aided and abetted the shooter in any way, we would remove them from the public and lock them up as well!
Because it seems to me that the common denominator of all of these school shootings are assault weapons!
So as long as these assault weapons are being the accessories to these crimes- THEY MUST BE ELIMINATED FROM PUBLIC ACCESS.
Or the public will never be safe again!
And you heard it first right here on JPP!

We need to start framing these arguments in a more pragmatic way that people can understand, using terms they can reason with, and not be able to deny.

Wrong, the right to free speech, the first Amendment, is protected by the Second Amendment.
Research the number of children who have been protected from harm by an adult with a gun.
Many schools now have security officers who are armed...to protect children and adults.

An armed guard with an assault weapon had an excellent chance of preventing these murders.
The Constitution does not discriminate against any “arm.”
Every long gun, except single shot ones, are semiautomatic.
Rightys know the last half of the 2nd amendment. They pretend the first half does not exist. The 2nd says A well REGULATED Militia being necessary to the security of a free state. The other words do not matter. A militia is no longer necessary. We have a standing army, a huge standing army. The people are not part of the equation. There is no reason to arm the people.
Read Heller vs. D.C. and you won’t be so ignorant.

It's says the "...right of the people to bear Arms..." The right of the PEOPLE not the militia.
Read it idiot. I disagree with it. Heller was a mistake created by the money and power of gun manufacturers. It made America a much less safe place and resulted in children being shot daily. Read the first half of the amendment and return with an adult response, if you can.

But, this shooter studied out the scene and planned this attack for days, and more than likely would have planned on shooting the armed guard as his/her first target to gain access.
Armed guards are always the first target during Bank Robberies!

The right to keep and bear arms is a right for people to possess weapons for the preservation of life, liberty, and property. The purpose of gun rights is for self-defense, including security against tyranny, as well as hunting and sporting activities.
Heller-“individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home...” was affirmed.
