I never expected him to have any effect on the collapse of the Empire....I am more concerned with the idea that I hear that he will not have any effect on our enslavement either, that for instance under his direction the digital tools will be launched.....looking at all of the Tech Overlords at the inauguration....and where they were....is for instance cause for concern.
I have had some hopes there.
Billionaires and spy agencies have always been in control. Musk said we can coup any country we want. Trump wants Venezuela.

It has oil. If there are rare-earth minerals, he would love to go in.
It has a lot of oil, and as much as we are told that we are getting off of oil that wont happen for several decades, if ever.
It is like watching a slow moving disaster.
The thing about Western mercenaries is they have Western families that appear on Western news. If there were a lot of them in Ukraine dying, then we would know about it.

It might be relatively easy to invade. Occupying would require the fight. It would be one of those situations that keeps getting worse.
Imagine all the worst elements of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam mixed into one war.
And there is definitely no profit in it. We would lose trillions. Oil is an easy commodity to block.

Nope. Instead of imagining that, I'm going to imagine Venezuela as it is. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is going to die for Maduro. If the US were to attack Venezuela, the entire population would surrender immediately, to include military and police. There would be no fighting of the type you are imagining.
