It sounds to me that there are responsible Republicans who realize that ordinary will be hurt by Crazy Trump's insane economical fiasco.The definition of insanity and all that... Congress apparently never learns.
There are several GOP morons who want to pass something called The American Worker Rebate Act which would, as proposed, give every adult and dependent child, a $600 rebate for tariff relief in families making up to $150,000 a year or half that if single.
I guess nobody looks at history. Such freebie giveaways just add to inflation.

Printing money can. If you print twice as much money, then each individual denomination becomes worth half of what it was before the new printing. Countries like Argentina and Zimbabwe found that out the hard way.

Trump wants a red house in a year and a half. His policies are hurting the masses with higher prices. He wants to keep the voters stupid about his plans . After the midterms, his horrible policies go into full effect. Two more years of super-wealthy rule and we will not recognize America.
He can toss a bunch of money at them until the vote, then he can get it back. The wealthy will get so much richer .

Printing money can, and usually does, increase inflation, yes. The printing of money is not the driver of inflation.

All that and more. Now the big boys want the Fed to loan them still more massive piles of money at effectively negative interest rates. Doesn't sound 'conservative' to me. Reagan's Fed did the right thing, but now all the Reaganauts seem to have forgotten that. As for the unemployment that caused, that is easily fixed by a moratorium on immigration like we had from 1920 up to 1965 and deporting illegals and their anchor babies that have ballooned the population since Carter and Reagan's 'amnesties' fiascoes.
