Spain's 117 Degree Summertime as Climate Change Worsens

It's almost like southwestern Europe has a HOT CLIMATE!!!!

Seville, Spain is closer to the Equator than Death Valley.

Indeed.

No A/C in my apartment. I watered my sheets at night to sleep.

The businesses closed in the afternoon, siestas.

Sidewalk cafes open til midnight, people in the streets. Tapas.

It was grand...and hot.

Your thread was killed by Prima and me and you speak of halfwits, Marty.

Por Dios!

You're even more deluded than the Brit maggot.

Haw, haw............................haw.

At least he's making money out of people's suffering and the slow death of the planet. You're just a fucking spear-carrier.

Haw, haw, haw, haw, haw..............................haw, haw,..............................haw.

As I suggested, Earl. The thread was "killed" in the minds of dimwits like yourself, those who fail to find any meaning in the fact that the great majority of their cited historically high temperatures are from the very recent past. Climate scientists and those who respect their work have a different take on this.

Keep flailing, Marty.

The scientists are not in general agreement.

You give half-wits...and dimwits a bad name.

Spaniards have a phrase that fits you perfectly, “sin vergüenza.”

They see a story, in this case in WaPo, and can't wait to post it without doing any checking. Spain, especially the interior and the south, can be hot as Hell in the Summer. If you look at a map you can see why, the Sirocco winds come straight off the Sahara desert and are truly maddening.
OK. African Easterly Jet from the Sahara does the same for hurricanes

You can't tell alarmists that climate tends to be cyclical in nature, they've never heard of the PDO or AMO.

The Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) is a long-term ocean fluctuation of the Pacific Ocean. The PDO waxes and wanes approximately every 20 to 30 years. From ocean surface topography data, together with other ocean and atmospheric data, scientists can determine whether we are in a 'cool' phase or a 'warm' phase.

The Atlantic Multi-decadal Oscillation (AMO) has been identified as a coherent mode of natural variability occurring in the North Atlantic Ocean with an estimated period of 60-80 years. It is based upon the average anomalies of sea surface temperatures (SST) in the North Atlantic basin, typically over 0-80N.

Of course the scientists are in "general" agreement. Dissenters are a small minority. Even you should know that.

Prima, you posted of visiting the Costa Brava and Costa del Sol.

Ahh...those gorgeous women...from Spain, Scandinavia, Northern Europe, G.B.

The British ladies have the most beautiful complexions in the world.

Vino, amor, dinero y el tiempo a gastarlos.

The heat is coming, the heat is coming!

You should practice your ad Homs, Marty.

Yours are bien flojo.

Here’s a good one. You are a boor, Marty. Not a bore, a boor. Look it up. (sic)

Oops, I ended a sentence with a preposition.

You will remain a plebeian for the entirety of su vida, Marty.
