How good were these sources? Consider what Steele would write in the memos he filed with Simpson:
Source A—to use the careful nomenclature of his dossier—was “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure.”
Source B was “a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.”
And both of these insiders, after “speaking to a trusted compatriot,” would claim that the Kremlin had spent years getting its hooks into Donald Trump.
Source E was “an ethnic Russian” and “close associate of Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump.”

No….the tax payers should be shouldered with the 10s of millions of dollars spent on this boondoggle and then be kept from the knowledge their DOJ has investigated to conclusion. And you think there is no DEEP STATE when such a question is even asked. Based on your own Russia-phobia premises, any ‘intelligence’ originating with Russian intelligence officers attached to the Kremlin—is suspect. Or at the very least, should be taken with a hefty grain of salt.
And sure enough, the Dossier turned out to be useful only to the Russians as it lead to ‘sewing discord’ in our political processes, based solely on the idea that Trump is a puppet of the Kremlin.

The Dossier turned out to be an unconvenient truth for the Republicans and Donald Trump.
The Dossier came in the form of a tip to our Justice Department and it was based purely on British Intelligence working with their intelligence gathering partners behind the Russian lines, and based on tapped phone line and Email conversations between Trump operatives and Russian agents.
The investigation has been clicking away on all cylinders and not leaking to the press what has been substantiated in the Dossier- or what has not been substantiated as it is all Top Secret information kept secret to the public as not to reveal sources or methods.
We are just days away from learning what was true or false in the report.
But, let me just say this right now- NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN UNSUBSTANTIATED IN THE DOSSIER BY ANY CREDIBLE SOURCE AS BEING FALSE!
And that is the truth!
