The most remarkable thing about this particular G20 is how isolated, ignored, and ineffective our corrupt, popular vote losing, orange President is.
I think it is unprecedented for an American president to be this despised, ignored, and just basically to be considered a joke of a man.
Most of the world, and a majority of Americans consider the popular vote losing Donald Trump to be a terrible president, and also just a horrible human being with almost no redeeming qualities.
It is actually really weird that virtually the only people on the planet that worship and admire Dump are conservatives and republicans. Not to mention those conservative message board posters who spend countless hours of their lives supporting Trump, defending him, or covering and deflecting for him.

Saddam used to hold elections, and got over 98% of the vote."Putin has close to 80% support from Russians at any one time. That's part of what makes him a strong leader." m #20
President #41 / GHWB was former CIA. But Bush didn't rub out journalists that questioned his leadership."The reason why the US wants Putin gone is because he's very smart when it comes to protecting his country because he was a ruthless KGB agent. He was always at least the equal to US CIA agents." m #20
That's not entirely false."It's entirely the US that wants another cold war and not Russia." m
I'm not the originator of the contradiction. That's Putin.Your two contradicting statements for you to reconcile:
Putin wanted to be included in the G7, even though Russia's economy doesn't earn Putin a place at that table.
and
Instead of Putin bravely, wisely leading his nation swiftly toward Westernized modernity for Russia and much of Eastern Europe, Putin clearly prefers the Cold War model. And it's costing the good people of Russia a degraded standard of living. What a needless shame!
And thank you for your input and your demonstration that you are capable of understanding the issues, even though you are so far not thinking for yourself.

I think you would be surprised to know how many Republican supporters detest Trump now and have to hold their tongues for the good of the party. Take this as the sure indication that Trump will be taken down noiselessly by Mueller and the FBI. For the good of the Republican party, the Democratic party, and the country.
Mueller will have a mechanism already in place to limit Trump's damage to America for the nest two years. Trump's psychopathy will not throw his family to the wolves. He's going to behave himself for the next two years or his family is taken down too.
or
The Kennedy solution. Americans can bet on one way or another. It may still not be clear to 'all' Americans but it's crystal clear to the rest of the world.

Saddam used to hold elections, and got over 98% of the vote.
And if you're incapable of understanding that a former Soviet, former totalitarian, former KGB agent that's jiggered his own nation's rules to cling to power past the time he'd have otherwise term-limited out, that any such leader whose non-supporters have such a high attrition rate, whose well known record for military adventurism is a familiar ruse to boost domestic popular support by presenting the outside world as a hostile, malicious place; if you're incapable of understanding that under those conditions and much more there's no such thing as "a legitimate 80% support" then you're wasting your time and mine."If you're incapable of understanding that Putin has a legitimate 80% support then you're not worth my time to debate. That's too bad because you seemed to be somewhat above the rest of the mindless rabble. Are you sure you don't want to research the question so that we can continue? I'm not here to bullshit or lie to anyone and if I do then I expect to be called on it. It's up to you now." m j#27

A learning experience for Americans. The talk starts at about 22 minutes. And it includes some discussion and some explanation from Putin on the Ukraine incident.
Maybe some Americans on this board can take a break from shtting on each other for a few minutes and learn something about how a world leader is supposed to behave in public?
What would our over 1000 military bases in over 80 other nations and our 7 hot generational shooting wars in majority muslim countries be like?
a) U.S. national security reasons, as ISIL is regarded as a national threat."Syria is a Russian client state as well -why are we even there?" a #32
^ not true..the G-20 finally agreed that the WTO needed reform -that was pure Trump
"There is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea!" - Donald Trump, June 2018
caved?? ROFL.Looks to me like Trump caved to China.
The problem is you have a habit of prematurely spiking the ball in the end zone, and exaggerating, overplaying, and hyping Trump's ability to conduct international negotiations and agreements.
I mean, Trump basically made you look like a fool when you prematurely spiked the ball in the end zone on his overhyped and largely meaningless attempts to reign in North Korea.
caved?? ROFL.
even the G-20 members agreed on WTO reforms ( read China as a "developing country" terms)!

Trump and Xi agreed to “immediately” begin talks on Chinese industrial policies, including coercive licensing of U.S. technology, trade secret theft and non-tariff trade barriers.
Xi as saying he is “open to approving” Qualcomm’s $44 billion takeover of NXP Semiconductors, which the American company had abandoned in July after failing to secure Chinese regulatory approvals
China purchases of what the White House called a “very substantial” amount of American farm, energy and industrial goods.

you would recall Trump said FROM THE VERY BEGINNING-
he can't make Kim Jong-un do anything. he can only use carrots and sticks.
If Trump is guilty of hyperbole about stopping missile threats (etc.) i'll give him a pass considering that even Obama said NK was the biggest threat facing the US when Trump came in.
certainly the situation is much better if not solved
actually I myself do not. While I certainly celebrated the reductions in tensions, stopping of missile testing and other promises; I' ve said from the very beginning NK could just be stalling-Doesn't change the fact that you have a history of prematurely spiking the football, and declaring premature victory for Trump.
I think Trump is an incompetent dunce, who is easily played. So, once again, you should be more deliberative before doing a victory dance for Trump - by keeping in mind how foolish your North Korean victory dances look in hindsight.
