By his definition anyone who talks about a race other than their own cannot be objectively critical and therefore can be perceived as racist. Somehow I don't see that creating an environment for people to better understand and get along with each other.

They lived in an apartment while in school, like many Mormons, they had two children at the time as well. While he was never deprived, he made his fortune after he left Harvard.

As much as folks want to criticize the President and his wife, they cannot do it, without the question of racism being the motivation because Barack and Michelle Obama are the very first, and there is nothing to compare it to. Period. I'm so glad you get it.

I absolutely hate George Bush and Dick Cheney, but it has nothing to do with color of their skin. That's not who I am. It's pure ideology. I hate Condie Rice. Has nothing to do with the color of her skin. It's pure ideology and her politics. I hate Allen West. And it has everything to do with the color of his skin, which he rejects, in addition to his politics.

Unless folks have normal, healthy relations with folks of a different race, any criticism leveled at a member of that race, has to be seen through the prism of racism. Period.

Really? What about the narrative the right believes about the Obamas? That's ok, right? Because it's the right doing it. Don't ever ask for that which you are unwilling or unable to give...and in this case, is equity and fairness.

How they think I could possibly be racist, when I hang out with white people and express my politics, and they are unmoved, and quite often in "full agreement", with me, is beyond baffling. When white people are being "obtuse" or "bordering" on racism and bigotry, and you point it out to them, and they lose the friggin' minds that, I, would do something so egregious...exactly, how can you begin to have a honest, intelligent conversation about race and racism, if parties are unwilling to admit that they may have a problem or they are being offensive, or racist, when it may not have been their intent.
