McCain has passed away. R.I.P.

McCain was an incompetent drunk who rode his family's coat tails to a military career. He did act as a true hero when he was tortured for years. He gets credit for that. Most on the Left do not agree with his political positions. At least he showed a modicum of decency in his waning years by voting against the Republican denial of healthcare coverage to millions.

trump is forbidden from attending the funeral. This is an 'adults only' affair. It will be interesting to see how the Orange Buffoon chokes on the words he will be forced to utter in remembrance of a Republican hero.
I’ve never heard John McCain was an incompetent drunk, where is this information available. I think he might have been intoxicated when he chose Palin as a running mate, but I’ve never heard the rumor of him being an incompetent drunk.
I think there is a lot of drinking that goes on in DC. I thought Boehner always looked like he’d had a three martini lunch.

Regardless, my point stands. The left trashed McCain as insane and unfit for office.

Whatever he was really like, most of us are inclined to make him a symbol of the America we used to love and admire, the one the Buffoon has torn up and shat on. De mortuis nil nisi bunkum, perhaps.

McCain had a sense of honor and fidelty we don't see very often.. and he was NEVER so partisan that he ignored right from wrong.

He wasn't a drunk .. My uncle was also a pilot during Vietnam and he always spoke highly of John McCain.

Of the many admirable things McCain did with his life, the two that are burned into my neurons are his eternal hostility to the practice of torture, and the time he put that rightwing deplorable in her place when she asserted Obama was a anti-American Muslim.

Are you so besotted with your trumpery hero that you have to lie like him?

McCain was a man of honor and principle, something your worthless p.o.s. couldn't begin to understand , and now he's gone. RIP.

yet in 2008 this supposed man of honor was a racist sexist nazi to you guys. hmmm.

You liked America when McCain was dropping bombs on the NVA lol?

Why don’t I believe that.

What you think was a point, was no point at all and hence, never stood to begin with.

Therefore, it cannot stand now.
Sure it is. The left hated McCain and trashed him and now cry crocodile tears. All the Google censoring in the world doesn't erase memory.

It was a political campaign.

You voted for him and sang his praises then, but like the rest of the drooling right, because he went against Trump, you think he doesn't deserve our respect and adulation now.

Who are the hypocrites again?

The big difference here is that the left has the common decency and humanity to see him as a human being who had value and a sense of justice and fairness, despite having been an adversary, while the heartless bastard right wants to trash him because he didn't bow down and lick Trump's anus like they do.

The rabid far right is populated by truly sick, low-rent people.

I agree on both counts.. Here's what Obama said..

Mr. Obama, who defeated McCain in 2008 presidential race, issued a statement shortly after McCain's death saying that "we shared, for all our differences, a fidelity to something higher — the ideals for which generations of Americans and immigrants alike have fought, marched, and sacrificed."

"Few of us have been tested the way John once was, or required to show the kind of courage that he did," Mr. Obama continued. "But all of us can aspire to the courage to put the greater good above our own. At John's best, he showed us what that means. And for that, we are all in his debt."

Trump hasn't said a word. Guess they are following his lead.

Passed away......:good4u: Another Rothchild deep state agent gone. I grieve for any friends and family nothing more his end was fitting for the way he lived. The War goes on...…..moveon.org

I never heard of McCain being a drunk?!! I have the utmost respect for the senator, volunteering to go and fight in Vietnam he was the son of a four star admiral, he could have rode out the war behind a desk or some other job out of harm's way! McCain cared about veterans too!

What a fucking joke. You don't give a damn about McCain, just politicizing another death as a result of insane hatred for Trump. Not more, not less.
