Not really. It was meant to initially stabilize the general health of this society, which by default would decrease demand on the system.

Unfortunately, Republicans defunded key aspects of the law in '15, causing 13 insurance companies with the best rates to go under. trump continues to toy with insurers over funding in order to create even more doubt among insurers. Notwithstanding his moronic comments....this will be his/Republicans' fault.

Dude, there were endless stories about people who couldn't afford life-saving or life-changing care, and who didn't have insurance. Everyone knows someone who had an issue.

You think everything was hunky dory w/ the # of uninsured we had in this country? So many painful choices. So many situations where there was NO choice.

I thought Obamacare was rushed, and I did think that something like that should have involved both parties - but there is no question that it saved lives.

The GOP cannot STAND that it was the DEMOCRATS who gave this country affordable healthcare.
 
its a shame that McCain can turn his back on something so fundamental to conservative values as a block grant.........apparently he is CINO......cognizant in name only.......
