Jail would likely kill Trump…

He will be convicted well before the next presidential election.

Not possible.

The trial isn't even expected to start until May and that's going to be pushed back also.

Plus you have appeals and Trump won't be going to jail while that process is ongoing.

The only trial likely to be finished by the election is the New York one and even that's iffy.

I believe the judge scheduled it for May already.

A federal judge ordered Friday that the trial in the classified documents case that special counsel Jack Smith brought against former President Donald Trump begin in May 2024. US District Judge Aileen Cannon said that the trial could begin as early as May 20. A pretrial hearing in the case will be held on May 14.

Trump is 77, wears diapers and a girdle, wraps 3 strands of hair around his head 100 times and has to be spray painted to appear in public. He could not survive three weeks.

He will get house arrest. The Secret Service--the very same one that protects Biden-- won't allow him to go to jail.
Experts on the matter were opining that on TV this past week.

Innocent until proven guilty, dummy...the bedrock of American jurisprudence.

1. I know that.
2. Vandy Boy calling me a dummy is rich.
3. I'd be perfectly content to see him get house arrest if convicted. There's no need to put elderly people in a cage.

Your GED has little merit in the grand scheme of things, dummy.

Your posts do merit that appellation…dummy.

Agreed....which is why Trump is trying to avoid going to court. He knows he'll lose.

Remember when he claimed he could shoot someone in the middle of the street and wouldn't lose traitorous voters like you, Captain Earl, ex-USAF and current oath-breaker? He would be presumed innocent but the video of him shooting a child in the head would prove his guilt just like the witnesses who helped him plan 1/6 will do the same.

You may be correct about house arrest, but it’s not up to the secret service, it’s up to the judge. It would likely be easier and cheaper to protect Trump in prison than out in the world.

Special dietary arrangements would have to be made by the prison so he can have his milkshakes, bags of Oreo cookies, and buckets of KFC fried chicken.

Poor fatso would have no right to that shit.

Agreed. Secret Service can protect Trump just fine when he is in solitary, which would seem like the most likely scenario.

I know that he couldn't eat food from the kitchen as it could be poisoned.

He would at least need his own team in there to prepare his meals.

Again, a huge pain in the ass for any prison.

Either that or he get's his meals catered in.

The cost to the taxpayer to house a president in prison would be astronomical.

The secret service is already doing that… I bet protecting him in prison would be cheaper than protecting him as he travels around the nation free. He charges them huge rates to stay at maralago.

The judicial systems turns in opinions. It has no enforcement arm.

Enforcement is the province of the executive branch, and if they don't want to send secret servicemen to prison along with Trump,
they'll make the call for house arrest.

And for you, we have the sobriquet, pigfucker.

It's an abbreviation of your hero's name, pigfucking orangutan.

Did you learn that word in your GED training?

Or in the pool hall parking lot on your knees searching for cigarette butts?

Stop associating with those low life’s at the pool hall, dummy.

You've given me a humorous image, Earl.
I can just picture the reaction you'd get walking into the pool hall that I frequented as a kid.
The word "impalement" comes to mind immediately!!!
